Hi everybody!

I know it seems like it's too early to think about, but with the cooler weather coming, the holiday season will be here before we know it! Appointments are booking fast for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you'd like to get your pups in, please reach out as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. We will also keep a cancellation for last minute openings if we are unable to get you in.

It is also almost time to open up the 2027 schedule! We will still be booking six months at a time. If you'd like a schedule, please send a message or email with your preferred days and times and we will get them together over the next month or so and send them out!

With the new year, we will be having a price increase due to rising operational costs. Prices will be based on coat condition and length, size of dog, length of time between appointments, and how long the appointment takes. If you have any questions regarding pricing, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you in advance for understanding!

Hi everybody! I just had a few updates as we get rolling this week!

🐾 Invoices and card payments are up and running! As a reminder, we will not be using Square anymore, but Clover, so we may need to confirm email addresses for invoicing.

🐾 We are unfortunately still not able to take on new pups. We still don't have a timeline of when we may be able to. We're going to adjust to the shop without Kyra and go from there!

🐾 I also wanted to thank everybody for being so welcoming and supportive of my new roll. I genuinely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those who don't know me before we get back into the swing of things on Tuesday!

My name is Emily. I have been in the industry since 2011 where I started out as a bather and quickly went on to start my grooming career the following year. I worked at a few grooming salons, but none ever really felt like home. That is, until, Kyra took me on in 2019. In the last seven years, I have watched her gracefully take on running and growing a small business, navigating the uncertainty of a global pandemic, the hard days, the great days, and everything in between.

I am incredibly grateful that I was given the opportunity to take over for Kyra. I am going to do my absolute best to make her proud and take care of her baby. I know I have some pretty big shoes to fill, though. I have learned a lot from her over the years and I plan to use that knowledge to keep Bark and Bubble the salon we all know and love. We will all (dogs included!) deeply miss her and what she meant to so many of us! Claire and I will continue to love all of your pups like they were our own.

I am not planning on changing much of anything in the way we operate. There will be a slight change to card processing, though. We will no longer be using Square. We will, instead, be using Clover. With this, we will be able to run your cards right at the shop! We can still send invoices if needed, but would prefer in person transactions. We will also continue to accept cash and checks! With that being said, card transactions will be TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. I promise it will be up and running soon! We will do our best to remind everybody that typically pays via Square at drop off or when we call for pick up.

Now for the fun stuff! I have one dog. She is a 13 1/2 year old German Shorthair Pointer mix, Hemingway, from Puerto Rico. I got her when she was a tiny 10ish week old puppy and she has been the light of my life ever since. I have four Maine c***s. Ernest is 2, Marceline is 1, Puzo (who is also Ernest's mom) is 6, and my little baby Timothy is 8 months old. I also have my old man kitty, Koshka. He is 15 and has been with us since my husband found him abandoned in a parking lot. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. He is my resident handy man so you may see him around from time to time.

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to hop on and share some very important salon updates. 💙

When I started the salon 10 years ago with just myself, I had a dream of creating a space where pups could come in for their spa day in a relaxed environment and be able to enjoy the process instead of dreading it. Walking into an empty space with just some green walls and carpet, I created the vision I had in my head. While not every pup may love getting a bath, I was able to make that dream of a comfortable space a reality. Through so many ups and downs, like having to close for almost 3 months due to the pandemic, I was able to make it happen as well as grow. I added some incredible team members and expanded into the space next door! This has all been a dream come true and I have to thank each and every one of you that has been a part of this journey in any way and I will be forever grateful for you all! Life brings so many changes and new opportunities, and with that said, June 30th, 2026 will be my last day of ownership of Bark & Bubble Dog Spa.

Being able to care for your pups for the last 10 years has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Opening and running Bark & Bubble has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding things I have done. Through the years I feel like each and every one of you have become a part of my own family, celebrating new additions to the family (both four legged and human!), losing your furry friends, watching your kids grow up and graduate, and it has been an honor being able to be a part of them all.

As of Wednesday, July 1st 2026 the salon will be under new ownership. Emily, who has been with Bark & Bubble for the last 7 years, will be taking over and running the salon. I am confident that she will continue to help Bark & Bubble thrive and provide the same level of love and care that you have known over the years. You’ll still see Claire as well, who will be staying with the salon to love on and care for your pups as she has been!

While I am sad to be moving on from this chapter of my life, I am incredibly thankful for the opportunities that I have had, the relationships that I have formed, and the love and support that you have all continuously shown me over the years. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for everything and supporting my dream, I love you all and will miss you dearly! 💙

Hi everyone!

I can't believe we are already through with another holiday season, the year has just completely flown by! Another year well spent taking care of all of your pups! We thank you all for your kindness, love, and generosity through each and every year, we wouldn't be here without you all! 💙

We will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, December 24th through Thursday, January 1st for the holidays and return on Friday, January 2nd. All phone calls, Facebook messages and emails will be returned when we get back to the salon!

For anyone who may be waiting on a schedule for the first half of 2026, I apologize for being a bit behind with getting them all together and sent out, but they will be sent out ASAP! Any current client who may be interested in getting set up with appointments, please reach out with your preferred day(s)/ time(s) and we will be happy to add you to the list and send the schedule over when it is ready.

Hello everyone!

What a crazy fall it's been, I don't know how we are at the end of November already! We will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, November 27th through Monday, December 1st to spend some time with our families and friends for Thanksgiving. All phone calls, Facebook messages, Instagram messages, and emails will be returned when we get back on Tuesday, December 2nd!
