Hi everyone, I’m Laney Boy, a 6-year-old tuxedo gentleman with FIV, and I wanted to tell you about my friend Eve.

We’re not bonded, but we became good friends after meeting in foster care. I had a cold, and Eve was recovering from something much harder. She thought she had found her forever home, but after a dog attack left her with a broken leg, she came into rescue needing help. She spent weeks in a cast and had to learn how to use her leg all over again.

Through it all, we found comfort in each other. We spent our days playing, keeping each other company, and helping one another heal.

Now when the nice humans come to feed us and give us love, Eve runs right to my cage to see me!

Eve has been through so much, but she’s learning to trust again. I’ve watched her grow stronger every day, and I know she has so much love to give to the family that will truly be forever.

Maybe we won’t go home together, and that’s okay. I just wanted everyone to know how brave my friend is and how much joy she still has in her heart. I hope someone sees the wonderful girl I see every day.

Oh boy we have a super cute family that joined us last night!
Mom is Patrica she’s amazingly sweet and loves her babies so much! She did a great job raising them and now deserves a loving home!
Babies are Sean, Patrick and Finn! They are sweet playful and cuddly! Their foster home and mama did a great job raising well rounded boys!

Two of our gorgeous girls went home today!

First up Ginger! Ginger is going to be a spoiled only princess and get all her mom’s attention! Gingers new mom was ready to start looking for a new companion after losing her senior kitties and when scrolling the adoptable cats she kept coming back to Ginger! Something was drawing her in. So now Ginger will get to have a cozy home!

Next was sweet Minina! Adopted by a granddaughter and grandma duo Minina is going to be spoiled and get to know a new kitty friend in her new home. Her new sister lost her brother a little bit ago and is so sad without a companion. Hopefully Minina will help her new sister heal!

The cages were a little empty so we had to get some new friends!! They’ve been settling in since yesterday evening getting used to their new digs which hopefully will be very temporary housing!

Our location is in need of some more volunteer help! Currently we are looking for volunteers for the following cat care shifts:
-every other Thursday evening
-Friday mornings
-floaters who can help with coverage last minute

Care care shifts entail:
-making sure the kitties have fresh food and water
-scooping litter boxes
-cleaning the kennels
-washing dishes
-playing with the kitties!!

Crazy girl Peace found her forever home! Peace is full of energy and spirit and caught the love of her new family! Peace is going to have kitties at home to play with and her human sister to play with as well! If you look closely little Peace is already trying to play with her sisters hand by chewing on it 🤣 Peace is going to bring so much joy to her new home!

A couple of sweet kitties went home this weekend!
Gibbs went home to be a spoiled only kitty with his new dad who was looking for a new companion after his last cat passed away. When visiting petsmart Gibbs had come right up to the cage to greet his new dad and a connection was made!
Glenda also found her forever home! Glenda had a lot of interest right away but her new mom and dad understood her need for affection and her cues to tell them she’s ready to just chill. Glenda is going to be a spoiled only kitty with her new mom and dad! This is their first kitty together after both growing up with cats!

Marley got adopted! While we were posting for her we were in the process of switching her location to get her a new audience. Well the post and the new audience worked and Marley now has a home to call her own with amazing parents!!

Marley got quickly adopted which is amazing considering she is an older girl at 8 years. Her new family will take it slow for her, and give her the full spoiled princess treatment! 💕
