CHARLIE completed his 14-Day Board & Train! 🎓🐾

This adorable 5 month-old Dachshund may be little, but he's got a BIG personality! 💜

During his two-week stay, Charlie worked on obedience, leash walking, building confidence, and learning to navigate new experiences. With plenty of guidance, structure, and consistency, this little guy did a Fabulous job!

And the best part? His paw-parents were thrilled with the results! Their kind words and 5-Star Review say it all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Welcome PEADEN to the AFDT Pack! 🐾

Meet Peaden, a handsome 5 year-old Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix who's a little shy, a little unsure, and full of energy! 💜 Underneath all that excitement is a sweet boy who really wants to please.

His paw-parents reached out for help with barking, jumping, leash walking, obedience, and establishing better boundaries at home.

With just a little guidance, Peaden and his family are already seeing some wonderful changes! Leash walks are improving, they're introducing more structure into their daily routines, and even his four-legged housemate, Finlay, is learning a few things along the way! 😄

His paw-parents are putting in the work, and it's already making a difference. Sometimes a little understanding, structure, and clear guidance can go a long way!

BARBARA & BERNIE completed their Obedience Training! 🎓🥳

These two adorable Mini Goldendoodles may have very different personalities, but they sure made a fabulous team! 💜

Bernie was always eager to please and quick to learn, while Miss Barbara occasionally had her own ideas about how things should go. 😂 But both did a Fantastic job!

And a BIG shoutout to their dedicated paw-parent! The consistency and effort put into their training really showed, from their beautiful leash walking to better manners at home. We even introduced the treadmill during their final lesson!

This little pack was an absolute joy to work with, and I couldn't be happier with how well they did!

Welcome JACKSON “JAX” to the AFDT Pack! 🐾

Meet JAX - Is he adorable or what!! Jax is a Pomeranian who is super sweet, quick to learn, and has just the right amount of sass! 💜

His paw-parents reached out for help with obedience, manners, barking, and creating better boundaries at home, especially with his older Pomeranian housemate.

With some guidance following their Assessment, they were already seeing positive changes. During Jax’s first lesson, we worked on obedience, door thresholds, and bringing a little more calm and structure into everyday routines. Both Jax and his older housemate did great!

His paw-parents have been putting in the work, and it shows. Everyone is off to a fantastic start!

🐾 October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month 🐾

Bringing home a shelter or rescue dog can be incredibly rewarding but remember, you're meeting that dog during a time of enormous change.

A new home. New people. New sounds. New routines. New expectations.

Some dogs settle in quickly. Others may be quiet, unsure or overwhelmed at first and as they become more comfortable, you may begin to see behaviors you didn't see in those first few days.

Give them time. Give them structure. Set clear boundaries and begin building trust from day one.

Don't expect them to immediately understand your world. Help them Learn how to Live in it. 💜🐾

🎓 CONGRATULATIONS, BUCK! 🎓

Buck has officially completed his Obedience Training! This handsome 5 year-old Chocolate Lab came to us with some impressive bird-hunting skills already under his belt, but needed a little help bringing that same focus into everyday life.

Throughout his training, Buck and his paw-parent family worked on reinforcing obedience and building better manners around the home and when visitors arrive. They put in the work, stayed consistent, and training went very well!

Great job Buck and kudos to his paw-parent family for all the work they put in! 💜🐾

PERCY completed his Basic Obedience Training! 🎓🐾

This handsome little Papillon may have been a bit unsure at first, but it didn’t take long for his personality to come out and for us to see just how smart he is! 💜

With some added structure, exercise, clear guidance and consistency at home, those not-so-great habits started disappearing and Percy showed just how quickly he could learn.

Welcome LIBBY to the AFDT Pack! 🐾

Meet Libby - an adorable 16 week old Mini Golden Retriever who is every bit as sweet as she looks! 💜 She's a bright little girl, quick to learn, and like any puppy, still figuring out those everyday puppy manners.

Her paw-parents reached out for a little guidance with puppy behaviors and leash walking, and we jumped right into her first leash lesson following the assessment. They were amazed at just how calm this sweet girl could be!

Libby and her paw-parents are already making great progress and are off to a fantastic start.

MAVERICK graduated! 🎓🥳

This handsome little Frenchie wrapped up his Pro Obedience Training with a bang! From working on boundaries and better decision-making at home to finishing his final lesson out and about at Tractor Supply, Maverick showed just how much this smart, strong-willed boy can accomplish. 💜

He’s still full of that Maverick personality 😆 -> but now he and his humans have a much better understanding of how to channel it!

RENNIE completed her Puppy Basic Obedience Training! 🎓🥳

This adorable 3 month-old Micro Bernedoodle may be tiny, but she is one Smart little cookie! 💜 Rennie was quick to learn, and her family did a fantastic job putting everything into practice along the way.

It’s pretty impressive what this little girl has learned in such a short time and she’s just getting started!
