One good training session is great, but consistency is what makes the difference.

Keep practicing, stay patient, and celebrate the little wins along the way.

Training doesn’t only happen during a session.
Every interaction teaches your dog something, including what gets rewarded, what gets ignored, and what gets repeated.

Consistency matters.

Quick side note: Meta has decided businesses now need to pay to include website links in more than a couple of posts each month. So, you may not see our website linked here as often. Just Google Anvil K9 and you'll find us! We're still here, we just aren't paying Meta for the privilege of typing our own website. 😉

The goal isn’t to control your dog every second.
Good training builds reliability, and reliability gives your dog more freedom to safely enjoy life with you.

You don’t have to wait until something becomes a problem to start training.
Building skills early can make everyday life easier for both you and your dog.

Quick side note: Meta has started limiting how often business pages can include website links in posts unless they pay for an additional subscription. So if you don't see our website linked in every post anymore, that's why! Just Google Anvil K9 and you'll find us. Thanks, Meta. 😉

Training matters, but so does enjoying your dog.
Play with them. Take the walk. Explore somewhere new. Have some fun together.
That relationship is part of the training too.

The real world comes with distractions.
People. Dogs. Sounds. New places.
