Introducing this week’s dog of the week, PEARLE!! Pearle is a 2 year old, 64 pound Boxer mix girl with the CUTEST little face! Walker County contacted us in February when her microchip showed she came from our shelter. We eventually figured out that one our microchips got put into someone's personal pet when at the vet. Even though she did not come from our shelter, we couldn't get her sweet face out of our heads and decided to take her in anyways. We had never met Pearle before this switch up, but we are glad she found her way to us!
Pearle is the friendliest and most easy dog to adventure with. She gets along with every dog we have introduced her to. She has a big crush on Godwin, one of our long term residents, and her bestie is Lucinda, the cutest hippo you will ever meet.
Pearle has also never met a human stranger. She loves cuddling up with anyone who will give her pets and loves any treat handed to her. She is a great walker on the leash and has become a volunteer favorite to walk. Pearle does show interest in chasing squirrels and rabbits on walks. Due to this attraction, we think Pearle would benefit from a cat free household.
Since Pearle is so friendly, we believe she would benefit from a family who already has another dog or who would be willing to adopt one of her shelter friends. If you are interested in meeting Pearle or any other PPC pet, please contact us via website or call 423-877-0738.
