Our hearts here at Riverview Animal Hospital are with all of the veterinary community as we come to hear of the loss of Dr. Cierra Cadena 💔

Veterinary medicine is filled with people who give so much of themselves to care for animals and the families who love them. Behind every white coat, set of scrubs, conversation, and recommendation is a real human being doing their best in a profession that asks a lot of them.

Today is a reminder to check on each other. To lead with kindness. To assume positive intent. To give people a little more grace and remember that there is a human being on the other side of everything we do.

To our veterinary colleagues and our own Riverview team: You matter. You are valued. You are not alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, please call or text 988.

Meet Buster, Riverview's inaugural cutie of the week! He is a shy but sweet boy who has been boarding with us here at Riverview Animal Hospital for several years. His favorite part of boarding is definitely having Indoor recess and getting loads of attention from his kennel team friends. 💙💙💙
