Why is it so important to get your puppy into a groom shop as soon as possible? A groom shop has a lot of new sights, smells, sounds, and experiences. Getting them in early helps them become desensitized to all that, so they can become confident and enjoy the grooming they will need their whole lives. We start taking puppies as early as 12 weeks, when they have all their puppy shots. Before then, we recommend you touch their paws, hold their chin, and mess with their ears to get used to the sensation for when they come see us the first time.
