Anyone local to Chatsworth want to buy honey we have
pints $15 and
quarts $30.
We been lucky this year to collect about 20 gallons, those girls have been super busy. It’s beautiful, looks like clover. We have more of that blooming in our yard than any other flowers.

For everyone that is wanting chicks.
I know , I hear this story a lot.
I can’t have roosters.
Sorry, I don’t raise enough to pay to have them dna sexed.
And I can’t keep them for 6 to 9 months.
For that price.
I only use organic chick grains and it’s $33 a bag & Kalmbach feed and layer pellets for my adults, it definitely isn’t cheap.
But they do great on it so. That’s what I will continue to use.
And I sell chicks for $15.
“Mine are straight run only”.
And usually they are all gone before, I can keep them that long.
Sometimes in spring and fall I have grown birds available but very rarely.
I don’t breed for the money, I breed for enjoyment of the breed. Going to shows occasionally.
I know the silkies breed mostly roosters and that’s just the way it is.
I don’t keep as many as I use to.
But just know they are some of the best, I been collecting silkies a long time.
And know what to look for.
Mine definitely aren’t kept all together. I have 12 to 13 separate pens by variety colors.
I work a full time job. And take care of my elderly parents.
So it’s mainly for my downtime & enjoyment.

Anybody tried these for silkies?
I have tried so many things the buckets and cups always leak. I wouldn’t care to pay for them, if I knew they would last and the birds would drink out of them. My Silkies wont drink from the ni**le waterers.

Water that's fluid in the freeze, cool in the heat and always crystal clean. Helps your flock stay healthy and lay better. This is hen hydration perfected.

This was a busy weekend for us around home. Lots of projects to get finish. Good seeing everyone! It’s definitely hard to get ready for back to back shows on weekends.
