This is the story of animal rescue at it's worst. What does "save them all" mean? Thousands of people advocate for saving all the animals in the shelters but what happens after their lives are "saved"?

Meet Colonel Mustard. We don't know where he started out but he ended up at Bartow County Animal Control on their euth list. We all know what that means, everyone starts begging for their lives to be saved.

So Etowah Valley pulled Colonel Mustard (since they are the only ones allowed to pull from Bartow). From Etowah he went to Poor Paws Rescue who pulled for Sacred Hearts Unchained out of TN who took the dog to an adopter here in Murray County. I don't know how many of these "rescues" actually laid eyes on the dog. The UNALTERED, UNVACCINATED dog. This dog was set up for failure from the beginning because nobody thought past "save his life". And don't get me started on the rescue that took pledge money for him.

So he is in a home for about 2 weeks before he gets into a fight with the adopters 2 dogs. We don't know why this happened but we know this guy deserves a better life.

And now he will get it. Pet Placement Center in Chattanooga is stepping up for Colonel Mustard. He will get the time and care he needs to have a happy and successful future. Thank you to the 1 that stepped up and shame on the 4 that let him down all along the way.
