Meet Halcyon! 🌸

When you first meet her, she might seem like a shy, timid girl—and a bit of a professional stinker who likes to crawl under chairs to hide! But don’t let that initial shyness fool you.

Once she feels safe, her true colors absolutely shine. In her foster home with Bonnie, she is playful with her toys and a total snuggle bug. We recently hung out in a quiet back office, and she completely melted into my arms for pets, eventually showing off her skills as a very distinguished loaf. 🍞✨

Halcyon is just as pretty as she is sweet, and she’s looking for a forever home where she can truly blossom.

Right now, Carver Scott Humane Society needs foster homes to open their hearts to dogs and cats in need. Fostering gives these animals a safe, quiet space to decompress outside of a shelter environment, allowing their true, wonderful personalities to shine!

🐾 Foster Surgery Day: What to Expect! 🐾

Saving lives means a few early mornings, but we make the process as smooth as possible for you and your foster pup!

⏰ Drop-off: Before 7:30 AM
⏰ Pick-up: Approx. 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM (watch your email for updates!)

Our staff handles all the medical prep and transport. You just provide the morning ride and the post-surgery snuggles. 💤
