I’m beyond excited to share that LCS has now added MagnaWave to our program! I have been using Magnawave on not only my horses, but myself, for years. This is a product I truly can see and feel a difference in when using. It keeps me feeling my best in the saddle and keeps the horses feeling in top form and recovering properly!

I have officially acquired a machine of my own, mostly for myself and horses in the program. But I will be offering Magnawave at certain horse shows as well as in Florida over the winter, when time allows. Please reach out if you are local as I’m happy to discuss coming out to a small amount of people.

I’m so thankful for products like these to keep us all feeling 100%. This industry is long days, and a lot of physical work, so having products that can keep us charged is a huge benefit to us all. I can’t wait to see the difference it makes in the performance of both myself and the horses, being able have it on a more regular bases🙌🏼

It’s been a busy few months for LCS! We relocated and are now based with Hyperion Stud LLC in Barboursville VA & Wellington FL!

We have been busy showing, getting some baby horses started and off property, and having a boat load of fun. We just finished up Tryon Summer 5 & Tryon Summer 6 with Lizz’s personal horse Amara.

Results:

As well as many clean runs with just a little time while we work on Amara’s rideability.

While the baby horses didn’t come this round, watch for them as they start showing in August at the Virginia Horse Center! I’ve added some pictures of them being the best babies.

Let’s talk about feed and nutrition. I switched Amara’s feed program roughly a month ago, maybe a month and a half after seeing a DRASTIC change in her appetite out of no where.

I changed nothing. No added supplements, no lesser/more work than usual, no different of a fitness program, no more or less travel than normal, the amount of feed, etc. Nothing and yet Amara stopped eating. A food she used to eat every last bite.

Now let’s get into vet/physical side of it. She gets it all. #1 thought: Dental. She get it every 6 months and just had it done. She has no ulcers, her saddle fits properly, Chiro and accupuncture on the regular, shoes every 5 weeks, yearly feet X-rays for the farrier and will get them sooner if they feel it is needed, body work (massage, magnwave, and bemer on a proper MONTHLY schedule). This horse is to the nines checked on monthly. Nothing should have changed.

Now, I see Amara every day so you don’t always notice the minor body changes, good and bad. I had gone out of town for a few days and when I came back I noticed a significant change in Amara’s body. And something I had been going back and forth on, I knew, immediately needed to happen in her nutrition plan. That’s when we switched to BUCKEYE Nutrition and I couldn’t be more grateful.

This horse, in just two weeks got dapples everywhere. She went from having a dull coat, tucked up tummy, not caring about food…. To eating every last bit. Having her energy and work ethic back. This isn’t a post to say anything negative on the old food plan. That just no longer worked for us. But it is a message to listen to your gut and also listen to your horse.

I knew it wasn’t ulcers and wasn’t these expensive supplements I was told Amara needed. The food was just no longer what Amara needed and that is ok. Just time for a change. Thank you Buckeye and Equine Elixirs for playing such a vital role in my horses daily care!🙌🏼

Long time no post on this page but we have been busy! Packing, moving, unpacking, and jumping right into things.

To start, Kentucky Spring was a successful week! Lizz & Amara were 10th in the young Jumpers with very confident and successful rounds 🏆

After that we have made our way to VA for a new chapter. We look forward to spending 6 months here and 6 months in Wellington Florida from here on out, with hopeful plans to come back to KY down the road 🫢

All have settled in great, we are prepping hard for horse shows, and are looking forward to seeing a new venue when we head to Loudon Benefit Horse show in 2 weeks and then Tryon in July🙌🏼 💫

Some moments from this past week at WEC OH!

🌟 Amara’s Destiny and Lizz McKinnon had some great clear rounds on the 1.10 young jumpers! Lizz has been taking her time with Amara and it really showed this week. The future is bright for this 6 year old mare.

🌟 War Marshall went to his first show and also had some very successful rounds both with Lizz and owner Gabriella in a big venue. We are excited to have this pair with us and get them moving along in the jumper ring!

Big thanks to all the families that’s support us as riders. I (Lizz) was lucky enough to have my dad with me for the week. The support means more to us than people know! We’re looking forward to KY Spring in May ➡️
