Ready for fall in Charlottesville! 🍂🐾

Foster & Skylar are already showing off their autumn style on the clinic bench!

Remember, while the temperatures are dropping, flea and tick season isn't over yet!

Ticks love hiding in those piles of fallen leaves. Keep your pets protected year-round and make sure their preventatives are up to date before heading out on those autumn hikes! 🍁

Need a refill? Give us a call!

Happy Fall Y'all 🍂🍁

🎤 Trading our stethoscopes for microphones! 🩺➡️🎶

The team at Mill Creek Veterinary Clinic recently swapped scrubs for some serious stage presence at karaoke night!

It was wonderful to step out of the clinic, let loose, and discover some hidden (and hilarious) vocal talents among our Charlottesville staff.

Don't worry, we are definitely keeping our day jobs caring for your pets! 🐶🐱

Now it's your turn to confess: What is your absolute go-to karaoke song? 🎵 Let us know in the comments below! 👇

Happy Ginger Cat Appreciation Day! 🐾🧡

From bold classic tabbies to the legendary "one brain cell" crew, orange kitties bring maximum energy to our lives.

Fun fact: about 80% of ginger cats are male thanks to feline genetics!

Tomorrow, August 22nd, is National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day! 🐱✨

Routine wellness checkups are one of the best ways to keep your feline family members happy, healthy, and thriving at every stage of life. Cats are experts at hiding subtle signs of illness or discomfort, making regular physical exams so important!

Let's play a matching game! Can you guess which new tattoo belongs to which MCVC staff member?

At Mill Creek Veterinary Clinic, we believe in celebrating our amazing staff! 💙

As a thank-you to our incredible team, we spent the day at Magnolia Tattoo Studio with the talented Molly, supporting another local, woman-owned business. Between the beautiful tattoos, delicious snacks, and lots of laughter, it was the perfect day to relax and spend time together outside the clinic.

Now it's your turn to join the fun! 🎉

Swipe through the photos to see close-ups of each new tattoo and our staff headshots, then tell us in the comments:

🖤 Which tattoo belongs to which team member?

Comment your guesses—we can't wait to see who knows our team best!

With a heat advisory and July 4th fireworks on the way, keep your pets safe inside where it's cool and quiet.

Before the celebrations start, make sure your pet's microchip details are completely up to date.

Let's keep our furry family members safe this weekend! 🐾

🐾 Happy World Veterinarian Day! 🐾

Today, we are celebrating the incredible doctors who keep the heart of Mill Creek Veterinary Clinic beating: Dr. Scheller and Dr. Sims! 🩺❤️

Being a veterinarian takes a unique mix of medical expertise, endless patience, and deep compassion. Whether they are solving a medical mystery, performing surgery, or just giving extra belly rubs to a nervous patient, Dr. Scheller and Dr. Sims treat every pet like family. We are so incredibly lucky to have them leading our team and caring for the Charlottesville community. 🐶🐱

P.S. Outside of being amazing vets, they are just truly incredible women—fun, always ready for a good laugh, and the absolute best teammates we could ask for! 🥂✨
