Lizzie has been waiting far too long for her chance at a real home. While other dogs have come and gone, this sweet girl continues to sit in boarding, day after day, just hoping someone will finally choose her. 💔

Today, she’s wishing for a little extra luck…

Right now, Lizzie is stuck in boarding at Animal Bed & Breakfast in Concord, NC, and while they’ve been amazing to her, it’s no place for a dog to live long-term. She deserves a couch, a routine, and a person to love.

About Lizzie:
🐾 Petite 35 lb girl
🐾 Fully recovered from a traumatic abdominal injury (she’s a fighter 💪)
🐾 Heartworm treatment completed
🐾 Professionally trained
🐾 Crate & potty trained
🐾 Athletic, energetic, and would LOVE an active home
🐾 Best as the only pet
🐾 No small children
🐾 Prefers women but warms up to men with time
🐾 Would make an amazing hiking or jogging partner 🏃‍♀️

Lizzie has done everything asked of her… healed, trained, waited patiently… and yet she’s still overlooked. It’s breaking our hearts.

💚 Can’t adopt or foster? You can still be her lucky charm.
Lizzie’s boarding costs $18 per day, and our rescue funds are extremely low. Every single day adds up, and we need help to keep her safe while we search for her home.

ooking for a social butterfly who’s always up for a good time? Say hello to Maple! This stunning 2-year-old pup is everyone’s friend and a total joy to be around.

Maple loves making new canine pals and is a pro at playtime. Her favorite hobby? Chasing her beloved squeaky toys with an infectious enthusiasm that will make you smile.

This girl is a true socialite who loves to get out and about! She’s a perfect companion for a lazy afternoon at a brewery or patio, where she’ll happily soak up the sun and charm everyone she meets.

If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky adventure buddy who’s ready to fill your life with fun, friendship, and plenty of squeaky toys, Maple is the dog for you! She can’t wait to find her forever family.

[ADOPT ME] • Meet Jake! — he’s a 4.5-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix and the sweetest, most easygoing guy. He’s super laidback and would be totally content lounging around most of the day. He enjoys short walks, car rides with the windows down, rolling in the grass, and a good game of tug-of-war. Most of all, Jake is a loyal companion who loves being close to his people.
