This compact cutie is here to cuddle her way straight into your heart and become your new best friend. 🥹 She is approximately 1 year old and 43 pounds💕

Words to describe Bonnie? Affectionate, a big puppy in a compact package, great with kids and dogs, and ridiculously soft. She eats and sleeps wonderfully in her crate and is overall a very quiet girl — she rarely barks, if ever! 🙌

Her silky-soft fur is basically begging to be snuggled, and Bonnie is more than happy to accept the assignment. 🥰 She’s playful when it’s time to play, cuddly when it’s time to relax, and has all the makings of an amazing family companion.

[ADOPT ME] • Meet Parka, adoptable through !!! Parka is a 45-pound, middle-aged beagle mix who has been waiting over two years for her forever home, continuously overlooked because she is a timid girl. We know her person is out there.

When Parka first entered the shelter, she was labeled “reactive” and came very close to losing her life due to her fear of people and other dogs. What no one knew at the time was that she was pregnant and nearing labor which explained her fearfulness. Shortly after arriving in foster care, she gave birth. Despite everything, she was a devoted, loving mom. Her one surviving puppy has long since been adopted—but Parka is still waiting.

Since then, Parka has overcome so much. She completed heartworm treatment and had a tumor removed, and today she is fully vetted, healthy, and ready for a fresh start. She has gained a ton of confidence in her foster home and even did a board and train with a professional trainer to learn basic commands and build more confidence.

Parka is a really good dog.
She’s gentle, sweet, and thrives in a calm home. She loves other dogs and gains so much confidence from them, so a home with another friendly dog is a must for her. With her foster mom, she is affectionate and loyal. She can be a little shy with new people (especially men), but with patience and kindness, she warms up beautifully. She might always remain timid with men, so any men - if any - in her forever home have to be extra patient with her.

She is crate trained, potty trained, and does great in the home. She’s gained amazing leash skills and now goes out and about with her foster mom and fur sibling.

After everything she’s been through, Parka is simply looking for peace, love, and someone who will make her feel safe forever.

She has so much love left to give, she just needs someone to give her the chance.

🍀 Lucky Girl Lizzie is STILL waiting… 🍀

Lizzie has been waiting far too long for her chance at a real home. While other dogs have come and gone, this sweet girl continues to sit in boarding, day after day, just hoping someone will finally choose her. 💔

Today, she’s wishing for a little extra luck…

Right now, Lizzie is stuck in boarding at Animal Bed & Breakfast in Concord, NC, and while they’ve been amazing to her, it’s no place for a dog to live long-term. She deserves a couch, a routine, and a person to love.

🐾 Fully recovered from a traumatic abdominal injury (she’s a fighter 💪)
🐾 Heartworm treatment completed
🐾 Professionally trained
🐾 Crate & potty trained
🐾 Athletic, energetic, and would LOVE an active home
🐾 Best as the only pet
🐾 No small children
🐾 Prefers women but warms up to men with time
🐾 Would make an amazing hiking or jogging partner 🏃‍♀️

Lizzie has done everything asked of her… healed, trained, waited patiently… and yet she’s still overlooked. It’s breaking our hearts.
