Graduate dog, Mollie, went home from her boarding stay and graduate dogs, Vader and Roxy, arrived for their boarding stay. Lots more dogs arriving this weekend for boarding. It is going to a very busy 2 weeks coming up. Let the good times & fun adventures continue!

Dog breeds that I personally think are INCREDIBLY AWESOME dogs; however, dogs I would never personally own for the simple reason that their intensity and high needs would be a bad match for my lifestyle: I simply would not have the time to meet their needs on a consistent basis. Routine 15-20 miles a week exercise (walks and hikes) with an extra 7-10 mile day hike in the mtns every now and then are absolutley NOTHING for the breeds below ... that is a warm-up for these breeds... not to mention the mental stimulation and challenge they desire (these breeds LOVE to think, learn new things and to be challenged). I often call these type of dogs "full time jobs" LOL and for the right person with the right life-style (& the right handler skill set & savvy) - they are AWESOME dogs!!! Just not dogs for my life-style is all 🙂

Dogs that are generally “too much dog” for my life-style. These dogs would see me as a lazy & boring owner - lol:

1. Belgian Malinois
2. Working line GSD (German Shepherd Dog)/ Pet/Show lines would generally be fine
3. Dutch Shepherd
4. Border Collie
5. GSP (German Shorthaired Pointer)
6. Austrailian Shepherd / "Aussie"

* My current personal dogs are in the picture: Pit / Pit-mixes Ralphie and Sawyer. Both have super solid temperaments with people and dogs and I would rate their energy/drive level as moderat + to maybe low end of high enegy/drive which is perfect for my life-style.

I think it is fair to say that Graduate dogs, Mollie & Beau, are having an AWESOME boarding experience: we started off this morning with an Off Leash run-around session in an open field with my personal dog, Ralphie. 😎

Graduate dogs staying with me for boarding get multiple play sessions on property every day + an off property field trip adventure at least every other day. 🐕

, MOLLIE, is back for some boarding with me! Mollie just graduated this past weekend and things have been going great for the owners the 4 days she has been home. They have a family trip planned for a few days and wanted Mollie to stay with me for on-going consistency, structure and engagement. She arrived late afternoon and she has already had a hike with me and my 2 personal dogs, play time with my dogs and currently practicing “place”. She is doing great!

Nicest morning we have had in months: high 60s and low humidity. Thank you Mother Nature! Happy dogs 🐕🐕

6.5 month old puppy Beau has only been home with his owners from his Board & Train for 36 hrs and his owners are already putting in the work and having fun with their dog. Beau LOVES his off leash adventures!
