JOB BRIEF:
We are seeking the right candidate to join our growing organization. Experience is not at issue but attitude is critical. Looking for winners and bad-asses who love woodworking, willing to learn the trade, and has a strong desire to grow and advance in the company. If so, we have a locker waiting for you.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong math skills

Familiarity with common power and hand tools

Experience in construction

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Assist lead carpenter with construction of custom furniture

Clean and organization shop per daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly schedules

Set up and maintain tools for supervising carpenter

Assist finishers with sanding, equipment maintenance, equipment cleaning, and stocking

Pick up materials and supplies with local vendors

Clean and maintain all machines and equipment daily

Learn and practice essential carpentry skills on the job

Install hardware and cabinet doors

Detail, repair, touch up, thoroughly clean, polish finished furniture for presentation to clients

Prep orders for shipping

Maintain a safe work environment

Completing job reports.

Attend courses on carpentry (Apprentice only)

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED certificate

Have reliable transportation

10-25 hrs per week. Tues.-Fri (occasionally work longer hours and weekends to meet deadlines.

Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending or stooping, regularly lifting 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds or more. Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Clean Driving Record: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to pass background and drug screening
