🐾💗 October Pet of the Month: Tia! 💗🐾

Please join us in celebrating the Tia, Avery Animal Clinic’s October Pet of the Month! 🥳🐱

Our team has grown so attached to this special girl over the months. We look forward to seeing her every month for her Solensia injections — and, of course, hearing her very distinctive meows that let us know she’s arrived! 😹💕 Tia has definitely made herself known and has a special place in all our hearts!

Solensia is a monthly injection that helps cats manage the pain associated with osteoarthritis. By helping relieve joint pain and stiffness, it can make a big difference in a senior cat’s quality of life, helping them stay more comfortable, mobile, and active as they age.

A big shout-out to Tia’s wonderful mom, who continues to do an amazing job managing Tia’s other senior health concerns and making sure she gets all the love, attention, and care she needs. ❤️ Senior pets may need a little extra TLC, but with dedicated families and a great veterinary team, they can continue to enjoy a wonderful quality of life!

Congratulations, Tia! We’re so happy you’re part of the Avery Animal Clinic family. Keep those distinctive meows coming! 😻💗

💚 **LULU UPDATE!** 💚

Sweet little Lulu is doing SO well after her cardiac workup, and we now have so many answers to share with her amazing rescue family at Bullies 2 the Rescue! 🐾💕

This little girl has already been through so much. From her dystocia surgery to her diagnosis of heart disease, Lulu has faced every challenge with a spirit that is nothing short of incredible. ❤️

And despite it all… this adorable little avocado 🥑(check out that harness! 😂) absolutely LOVES life! She suckles her toys, makes the BEST biscuits, and continues to show everyone around her just how much fight and sweetness she has in that tiny adorable body. 🥹💚

We are so thankful to Bullies 2 the Rescue for trusting us here at Avery Animal Clinic to be a part of Lulu’s journey. It is such a privilege to care for this special girl and help give her the best chance at a happy life!

❤️ HELP US REACH 200 HEARTS FOR LULU!❤️

Sweet Lulu recently came to Avery Animal Clinic on behalf of Bullies to the Rescue, one of the wonderful rescue organizations we are proud to work with.

Lulu was brought to us for a dystocia, which means she was having difficulty giving birth because her puppies were stuck and could not be safely delivered naturally. She needed surgery to give her the best chance possible. 🐾❤️

We are happy to say that Lulu is doing very well following her surgery! 🎉

But during her care, we also became concerned about Lulu’s heart. Heart disease can occur in dogs for a variety of reasons, and sometimes the signs can be subtle. A thorough cardiac workup can help determine what is happening and whether Lulu needs ongoing monitoring or treatment.

A complete cardiac evaluation may include:
🫀 A comprehensive cardiac examination
🫀 Blood pressure and other diagnostic testing
🫀 An echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) to evaluate the heart’s chambers, valves, muscle, and function
🫀 Additional testing as recommended by a veterinary cardiologist

So here is where YOU can help Lulu! 🥰

❤️ IF WE CAN GET 200 HEARTS FOR LULU… ❤️
Avery Animal Clinic will help Lulu’s heart by paying for a FULL cardiac workup with Dr. McCarragher, a veterinary cardiologist in our area!
All you have to do is LIKE ❤️ this post and help us reach 200 hearts!

Every heart represents someone cheering Lulu on and helping us show this sweet girl just how many people are in her corner. 🐶💕

Please LIKE, SHARE, and FOLLOW along as we help Lulu get the care she needs.

Let’s get this girl to 200 HEARTS! ❤️❤️❤️

💛 A Little Update from Avery Animal Clinic

We’d like to share an update with our Avery family. Over the past couple of years, Dr. Anderson has been an important part of building Avery Animal Clinic into the practice it is today. She helped get Avery started and establish the kind of clinic we wanted it to be, and we’re grateful for all she has contributed along the way.
As life changes and her children grow, Dr. Anderson has made the decision to step away from practice ownership so she can make a little more time for her family. And while her role is changing, we are so happy that she isn’t going anywhere!
She will continue here at Avery as an associate veterinarian, doing what she loves most: taking care of her patients, getting to know her clients, and being part of the Avery family.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Dr. Anderson has given to Avery, but even more grateful that we get to keep seeing her smiling face around the clinic and watching her continue to care for the patients and people she loves so much. 🐾❤️
Here’s to a new chapter that gives Dr. Anderson a little more time for the people she loves, while still allowing her to do the part of veterinary medicine that has always been closest to her heart.

We had the sweetest visitor today — Dolly! And what better day for her to stop by than Dolly Day?! 🥰

Just like Dolly Parton, we believe that a little kindness can go a long way — whether you're helping an animal in need, giving someone a second chance, or simply making someone's day a little brighter.
So today, we're taking a little inspiration from both Dollys:
Love big. Be kind. Help where you can. And always make time to say hi to a dog. 🐾💕
We were so happy to have our own little Dolly visit us today! 🥹🐶
