Up for adoption is this beautiful reddish gray wolf, Shila - Her name translates to "flame" in the Inuit language as a tribute to her Alaskan origin, fiery copper color, and bright amber eyes.
This gorgeous gal is going to be one that's hard for me to part with, I love her sweet face and striking mask of dark colors surrounding her bright eyes! Shila has a prime winter coat that is the most magnificent copper color with long guard hairs you can bury your hands in. Her coat shows different colors in different lighting as you can see from the photos - her reddish color shows up best indoors while she is more tawny in the natural sunlight to blend in with her surroundings. She's a big girl with some of the biggest paws I have ever seen on a female, has a unique scar on her muzzle that has healed over, and a little white tip on her tail(see photo 😎! Shila also has special high quality glass eyes that are REFLECTIVE which means in flash photography(see last photo), her pupils shine greenish like a real wolf's eyes do! She is big, beautiful, and perfect to me! She also has wire armature in her legs which allows for more realistic poses although please be aware that she cannot stand on her own.
