Fergie update: apparently nobody told her the pool was for cooling off, not launching a full Olympic diving campaign. 😂💦

This goofy girl is settling into foster care, showing off her athletic skills, and reminding us every day that she’s equal parts sweet, smart, and absolutely ridiculous. 🖤🐾

We had a wonderful turnout and loved meeting so many people who stopped by to learn more about fostering, adopting, and supporting rescue dogs. One of our favorite parts was hearing all the thoughtful questions and having the chance to share what Dogwood Doberman Rescue is all about.

🚨 Everyone, meet Mochi. 🚨

And yes… she’s every bit as adorable as she looks. 🖤🐾

Mochi is our newest foster puppy and she’s already settling into foster life like a pro. She’s been making friends everywhere she goes and gets along beautifully with other dogs—big and small, male and female. Her foster family reports that she’s sweet, curious, and soaking up all the love and attention she can get.

From being carried around like a baby to riding quietly in her crate, Mochi is taking all of life’s new adventures in stride. And those ears? We’re pretty sure they deserve their own fan club. 🥹

She’s just getting settled, and we’ll be sharing more updates as we learn about her personality, but one thing is already clear:

Mochi is going to steal a lot of hearts. ❤️

Rupert is ADOPTED 🩵🩵🩵

Whether he was watching basketball games, strolling through busy parks, quietly observing playgrounds, or curling up for cuddles, Rupert never needed to be the center of attention, but somehow he always stole the show.

He gave us plenty of laughs, too. The same dog who could be perfectly composed in public was also known to tear around the yard with his friends, showing off his goofy side. ❤️

Today, Rupert’s wait is over.

He found his forever family, and while we’ll miss that handsome blue boy, we couldn’t be happier knowing he has a home of his very own.

Sleep upside down, soak up all the love, and enjoy every second of the life you’ve been waiting for, Rupert.

A little update on our handsome senior boy, Enzo. 🖤

At 8 years old, Enzo recently went in for his neuter procedure and experienced a post-surgical complication. While complications can happen with any surgery, they are sometimes seen more often in older dogs.

The good news? Enzo has been back to the vet, is doing well, and is recovering comfortably at his foster home. We’re grateful for his wonderful foster family helping him rest, heal, and get back to feeling like himself.

If you’ve been following Enzo’s journey, you already know what a special dog he is. He’s intelligent, gentle, affectionate, and happiest right by your side. Even through this setback, he’s remained the same sweet, loving boy we’ve all come to adore.

For now, Enzo’s job is simple: rest, recover, and soak up all the love. Once he’s fully healed, he’ll be ready to start meeting potential adopters and finding the forever home he deserves.

Please keep Enzo in your thoughts as he continues healing. And if you’d like to help offset the cost of his additional veterinary care, donations are always appreciated and go directly toward helping dogs like Enzo receive the medical care they need.
