It’s been 14 years since we lost this Aussie legend.

Steve Irwin was the beloved "Crocodile Hunter" — until he was fatally stabbed by a stingray barb. On that fateful day in 2006, he had actually been looking for sharks to film in Australia's Great Barrier Reef. And in true Irwin fashion, he was ready to get up close and personal with some of the world's most dangerous predators. Since he had difficulty finding a shark, he settled for a shot with a stingray instead. But then, the tame video turned into a scene straight out of a horror movie.
