Sometimes you don’t realize how far you’ve come until you see your own face on the flyer. ❤️

This is a photo that means a LOT to me.

Back in 2023, I had the opportunity to Co-Teach Pet First Aid & CPR at the Pet Sitters International alongside Denise Fleck who has been an important mentor in my journey.

Now, seeing this photo of us featured on a promotional flyer calling for future speakers is one of those moments that makes me stop and reflect.

Because this isn’t just a picture. It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come in the pet-care industry, the people who have poured into me along the way, and the opportunities I’ve been blessed enough to have.

I’ve gone from wanting to become a veterinarian, to working in veterinary medicine, to walking dogs & pet sitting, to standing in front of a room and teaching Pet First Aid & CPR.

And this is one of the accomplishments I proudly share when I introduce myself in my classes.

Not because I think I’m special.

But because I want people to understand that experience, education, mentorship, and showing up consistently can open doors you may not have imagined for yourself.

I’m proud of this moment. I’m proud of the work that got me here. And I’m grateful for the people who helped me along the way.

Yes, that’s me on the flyer. And yes… it’s a BIG deal to me. 😂💃

Time is winding down. We’re less than 2 weeks away - Let’s be prepared for the expected unexpected.

A dog bite. A seizure. A broken bone. Choking. Vomiting. An emergency can happen when you least expect it.

Would you know what to do?

If you’re a pet parent or pet professional, this class is for you!

My Pet First Aid & CPR classes are:
🐾 Hands-on
🐾 Engaging
🐾 Comprehensive
🐾 Interactive

I want you to learn—not sit through a boring lecture. Ask questions, practice the skills, and leave feeling more confident and better equipped to respond when a dog or cat needs you most.

Don’t wait for an emergency to learn what to do.
