Sophisticuts is not taking new clients at this time. Jaime has a degree in Animal Science and over 20 years experience caring for and handling animals of all types. I aim to provide a quieter and less stressful environment for grooming by working with your pet in a one at a time style of appointment. Please call or text 704-875-4222. It is always best to make your next appointment in advance to be

sure of the time that works best. Last-minute cancellations may not be able to be rescheduled in a timely manner. I work one to one with your dog from start to finish. Do not be late for your appointment time, or your will have to reschedule. Early drop off can be arranged if you have a schedule conflict. There are NO DEMATTING services. matted dogs will be shaved for their health and safety. Matting is caused by neglect. Dematting is painfully inhumane. NO PARKING in the rear lot. This is a private lot for residents only! Please allow your dog to relieve itself fully before dropping off and clean up after your pet. Do not dispose of dog waste in residents' trash bins. Be respectful of my business and my neighbors. I will charge an extra fee to clean excessive accidents or deal with HOA complaints. We close promptly at 4PM. All dogs must be picked up by 4pm. A $25 boarding fee will be charged late pick ups. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.

Ear ca**ls and a**l glands are internal organs. They should be looked after solely by the VETERINARIAN. Yes, I can clean externally the ears and yes, I can relieve full a**l glands externally but this often does MORE HARM THAN GOOD. These things are better left alone or seen to by the vet.

If your dog has been in emergency or overnight in the vet hospital they need to stay home and rest!

I'm sorry they stink from the hospital but it is absolutely necessary that they stay home and recover in a calm environment. This applies more so if your dog is a senior over 10. You can use pet bath wipes or baby wipes or dry spray shampoos to clean them up at home.

If your dog was hospitalized for the following they need a week of rest:
SEIZURE
Dehydration
Vomiting with or without fever
Diarrhea with or without fever
FEVER

If they had surgery they need 14 days and vet approval before a bath.

🚨PLEASE DO NOT come in to get your dog unless I have texted "ready" !

Small dogs take 1 hour
Larger ones take 1 to 2 hours depending on their coat texture.

Just because I got a dog done in half an hour one time doesn't mean it's always like that. Many factors slow me down like changing a bad clipper blade, the humidity levels in the shop, how knotted the hair is, how well behaved your dog is, how many times someone interrupted me...etc etc...

If you come in before I have texted you I will be sending your dog home unfinished. 🫣
