Thank you all for supporting Charlotte Pups & Pal’s efforts to collect pet food for Charlotte Animal Control during this year’s Pet Food Drive!

With your help, the pet food drive collected a total of 380 pounds of food and $500 in monetary donations! This pet food is greatly appreciated by Charlotte Animal Control and the food bank. The attendants at Animal Control were amazed at the size of the donation, and so are we! The generosity of the Charlotte pet community is incredibly inspiring.

Thank you again to all who donated and helped spread the word about our food drive, and an extra special thanks to the awesome folks at and for hosting donation boxes! With the support of the wonderful people in our community like you, we were able to make a real difference in the lives of local shelter pets 💙🐾

To celebrate our 15th anniverary we will be hosting a Pet Food Drive from May 15, 2023 through June 15, 2023 to benefit Animal Control's Food Bank. The Food Bank helps income-eligible pet owners provide food for their babies so that they don't have to choose between keeping themselves or their pets fed.
When I recently heard the Food Bank was running low on supplies I knew we had to help.
We held a food drive in April 2020 and were able to donate a whopping 400 pounds of food from our amazing clients and community!!

We appreciate any pet food donations you can provide. Dry or canned food for dogs and cats (puppies or kittens too!) in smaller sizes are easiest to store and distribute, but all sizes are welcome. Open bags of food are ok, so if you have a picky eater at home we're here for you!

Our clients can leave their donations for us to pick up or take your donation to local drop-off locations. Starting this weekend we will have a collection box at The Auto Pour at 5033 South Blvd, and we are working with other businesses so there may be more soon :)

This year we will be accepting monetary donations and matching a portion of any funds collected. If you'd like to donate that way check out the link in our bio😊
