Did we get caught in two rain storms? Sure did. Did we have fun? Sure did.

So we thought we’d be back sooner this season. Back on the trails, back to muddy paws, dirty dogs, and mountain adventures with your pups.

But the past couple months have been really hard on us. We lost two of our own, Lana Sky, our Chief Adventure Officer, and Sophia Rose, our Head of Security & Sass Enforcement. Truthfully, it’s been hard figuring out how to keep moving without them right beside us.

Paws on Mountains has always been built around our love for dogs and the outdoors, and those two were a huge part of it all. So if we’ve been quiet or slow getting things going again, that’s why. We’ve just been trying to heal and take things one day at a time.

We know Lana would be losing her mind if we stopped hiking though, and Sophia would still somehow be judging every dog on the trail from above. 🤍🌈

So this is us slowly finding our way back.

This adorable 9-month-old Lab/Pit mix has been patiently waiting and dreaming of his forever home. He’s heard that Christmas is kind of magical and would really love to experience his first one with a family of his own…preferably one that gives treats, laughs at his antics, and doesn’t mind a little couch cuddling.

Arthur is firmly on the Nice List because he’s crate trained, house trained, a leash pro, and a certified goofball who spends his weekdays at daycare with his dog friends. He’s dog friendly, kid friendly, cat approved, UTD on shots, neutered, and always down for an adventure, a walk, or a cozy couch nap by the tree.
