Free Spirit Parrot Sanctuary Free Spirit Parrot Sanctuary is a safe haven for Parrots in need. Occasionally we have to adopt fellow feathered friends out, based on what is best for bird.

We are a sanctuary where birds can come when they outlive their owners, or circumstances arise.

Huzzah! 🦜🏰 We're BACK at the Carolina Renaissance Festival this weekend!

Come visit the Live Dragon Aviary this Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM, and meet the real dragons — our rescued parrots! Say hello, snap a photo, and learn what it takes to care for these incredible birds.

Every donation helps give displaced parrots a safe place to heal and thrive.

Boop’s first time at Faire and she had a blast. She met a lot of new friends. This is my favorite because this was the very first Patron for her to hang out with. She did so well. I’m just loving all the red.

🦜 Come see us this weekend at the Carolina Renaissance Festival!

Find us at the Live Dragon Aviary — Free Spirit Parrot Sanctuary will be there with some of our amazing ambassador birds. Stop by to say hello, learn about parrot care, and help us raise funds for birds in need.

Every donation helps us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome parrots who deserve a second chance. We can't wait to meet you! 💚
