This is a very special Pet of the Month post for all of us here at Atrium 💞

As most of our Atrium Family knows, our staff votes every month for a patient that recently went through difficult trials, has overcome challenges, has made us giggle, or just won us over with their undeniable unique character. Our most recent Pet of the Month is this charmer of a boy, Tigger (Tig for short). This special boy met all of those parameters and more!

Tig was the kind of cat that told US what the plan was, not the other way around 😂 and by "told us," we mean literally! He was such a chatty boy, who would spot you from a mile away and call out to you. Anytime you got near, he couldn't wait to tell you about his day, staff affectionately calling it "Tig's Daily Tea." 💞🍵 He boarded with us often, and if you had any question about when dinner was, Tig would let you know!

He also gave us hugs on tough days, rubbed against our arms and legs when we needed a boost, and would melt your heart in an instant. He had a little bit of sass, but a whole lot of sweet to make up for it. He kept our docs their toes 😉, but was also an absolute joy.

We had the pleasure of having Tig as a patient for 14 years. He battled with kidney disease in his last few months, and is no longer with us. Shout out to his incredible mom, who gave him the most wonderful life that any cat could ask for. Thank you for trusting us with his care and allowing us to be part of his journey.
We just know he's telling everyone about his days on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge 🌈 We always want more time but the time we had was magical. 🐾🥰
