Hi! We’re Genevieve and Hector Javier—the owners of FreshCoat Grooming.

We’re entrepreneurs who took a leap of faith to build something we truly believe in. What started as a dream, a ‘thought’, has become a business built on hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for animals. Naturally this was 100% Hector’s idea.

At FreshCoat Grooming, our mission is to provide quality care in a calm, welcoming environment where every pet is treated with patience, kindness, and respect. We know your pets are family, and it’s an honor to be trusted with their care.

Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or you’re just discovering us, thank you for being here. We’re excited to continue growing, serving our community, and making every FreshCoat visit a great experience.

Here’s to new faces, familiar wagging tails, and the journey ahead. 🐾

Why your dog’s haircut costs more than yours…

Your hairdresser doesn’t cut your toenails 💅

Your hairdresser doesn’t give your whole body a scrub 🧼🫧

Your hairdresser doesn’t trim your body & leg hair

… and your hairdresser definitely doesn’t share your bum 😂

Fresh coat, happy pups. 🤍🫧

Our $30 walk-in baths are the perfect way to keep your fur baby clean, fresh, and feeling their best between grooming appointments. No appointment needed, just stop by and let us do the rest! 🐾🤍

Meet Genevieve - Owner and founder

Welcome to our grooming salon! I’m Genevieve, and I’m so excited to bring a new grooming experience to the Wesley Heights community.

As the first dedicated dog grooming salon in this rapidly growing neighborhood, our goal is simple: to provide exceptional, personalized care in a calm, very clean, and welcoming environment where every pet is treated like family. We are an ‘open’ salon concept where owners can watch thruout the grooming process. Optional for pets to be crate free too! Wesley Heights is becoming one of Charlotte’s most vibrant communities, and we’re proud to be part of its growth from the very beginning.

I believe grooming is about more than just a haircut—it’s about your pet’s comfort, health, and happiness. Whether it’s your puppy’s first visit or your senior dog’s regular spa day, our team is committed to creating a stress-free experience while helping every dog look and feel their very best.

Thank you for trusting us with your four-legged family members. We can’t wait to meet you and become your neighborhood grooming salon for years to come!
