How big is your BTS? Tiramisu is just about 2 years old and weighs roughly 800 grams! I was looking at a body scoring chart (see comments) and I’m really happy with his weight and progress!! This is what a healthy diet with proper veggie consumption and an emphasis on insect protein will do!

Ok so this was extremely successful! I love how the greens didn’t get scorched and you can still see the true color.

A mix of 2 tsp food : 1.5 tsp warm water worked well and makes sense based on water loss from dehydration

And it’s Violet approved, and she doesn’t like veggies and it took her 2 months to actually eat my mash so you know it’s legit.

Look at this nice picture my sister took for me!! FRT Critter Hash is a staple in my house, I’m constantly running out.

This is a great dry chow for any common feeder insect! Can be mixed in with substrate for mealworms, superworms and BSFL and can be fed directly to roaches and crickets!

I feed this in conjunction with fresh produce as a hydration source! My go-to’s are oranges, cucumber and left over salad from my uro and beardie!

On today’s episode of “will it dehydrate”?

My 50/50 mix comprised of:

Turnip greens, cabbage, dill, acorn squash, bell pepper, cucumber & fig

Snails, crickets, BSFL, repashy mealworm pie, quail eggs, silversides, & BRB Kitten Raw Wholeprey

My goal is to be able to safely dehydrate, rehydrate, and have it accepted as a food source from my own animals. If that’s the case I’ll be able to offer a cheaper alternative to fresh frozen food.

Fresh frozen will still be an option but I know it’s not available for everyone nor is is always the cheapest when you factor in shipping. I do think nutrient wise fresh frozen will be better, but I generally dust my animals food with an all in one multivitamin calcium supplement so that should cover any nutritional gaps from dehydrating

As much as I would LOVE a shingleback pair here in the states, I ain’t gettin them if they’ve been illegally transported. Glad the Aussies got their security TIGHT (a little too tight though I still can’t send my products down under but oh well)

We’ve disrupted a Sydney wildlife trafficking ring in our first major operation targeting this illegal trade.

During a search warrant, we recovered:
• 36 reptiles including snakes and lizards
• silver and gold bullion and cash worth $300,000.

The reptiles have been saved from the cruel international wildlife trade.

We are just getting started.

The National EPA is targeting wildlife crime as a compliance priority and the individuals involved will face the full force of the law.

We’re working with our domestic and international partners to dismantle wildlife trafficking networks and to remove the financial gains made from this crime.

Everyone at shows loves Misu…love how sweet and not mean he is, how pretty he is etc. Well… here’s your chance to go get one who was raised the same way from the same breeder. Different subspecies but you’ll notice the difference with a high quality CBB baby vs a wild caught animal who’s been traumatized from a very young age

Nothing makes me happier than a healthy reptile who eats what mamma gives them and is excited about it. Misu ate his breakfast at a reptile expo, something I’ve never tried because I figured he’d hate the loud noises, he’s a fairly shy guy at home! So to see him excited and ready to eat…that’s when you know you’re doing something right.
