She didn’t even want to finish her egg frittata yesterday which is saying something. I kinda have a love hate relationship with brumation. I love the break, hate missing my girl, and hate not having new salad eating content for social media (exception for Tiramisu he’s tropical so no brumation)

Cairo has been downgraded. I think his 4x2x2 was still too big for him. So for now until he gets bigger he will be living in his travel tank I use for expos! Ironically he’s so much more interactive at expos even with all the people and noise so I think that says something!

It’s a 24x18x12 - the uvb is a weaker bulb but I was measuring between 3.0-4.3 depending on location & angle which should be good for him especially since he still gets calcium with D3 at least 1x a week.

And yes I left the couch in there, it’s one of his favorite spots to burrow and lay under for some reason.

Soaking it up while she can before I put her in a w**e cooler for the winter! When she wakes up she’ll have her permanent 24x18x18 ready for her!!

My hognoses are my only species I intentionally brumate even though I have no plans to breed. I truly think a cooling period does them some serious good!

Updated my local delivery prices. This is mainly for anyone ordering my fresh food locally! If you order toppers/dry goods, I can support up to 10 miles away otherwise I can ship anywhere in NC/SC for roughly $6 and change so it’s more economical to just ship!

FRT Dehydrated Omnivore Food - a diet that doesn’t have a single ingredient that shouldn’t be in there. No wheat middlings, soy, or almond hulls! Great for meals in a pinch, to offer some extra food diversity, or to help a picky eater!

I emphasize insect protein in all my blends and high quality diversity! At least 5 unique proteins, and 6 unique veggies in each bag!

Great for omnivores such as - BTS & other omnivorous skinks, tegus, box turtles, aquatic turtles, red foot torts, water dragons etc etc!!

Just rehydrate, add calcium per your regiment, and serve!
