While we may have been a little quiet lately on social media, we have been busy with pups and life and have a little update to share with yall. Reds Dog House has been a love of mine for almost 10 years now, where I’ve been able to open my home to so many families and pups over those years. I’ve developed relationships with so many, and watched kids grow up, get married, couples meet and get married and start families, I’ve had puppies their entire lives, I’ve watched pup families grow, and it’s been so amazing to be a part of it all. Not only that; I’ve had the most amazing support system in my Reds Dog House family when I’ve experienced tough times, through personal loss of family members and two of our own beloved members of the pack, Sampson and Chloe. I’ve had such supportive, wonderful, amazing families all these years and I truly am so blessed beyond words to have been given the opportunity to a small part of everyone’s lives. But all journeys have to evolve, and so does this one. As of 9/30, Reds is going to close its doors for now. Life is changing for Hudson and I, in the best ways possible, and it’s time for us to pivot our life a bit. There has been no shortage of tears shed with each family I’ve told (I’ve tried to get as many as I can- if I missed you I promise it wasn’t intentional!), with each time I think about not seeing all my furry pups day after day, but all good things have to come to an end. Though, we hope this won’t be the last of us. My love for dogs is far too deep to say goodbye forever. So this is simply goodbye for now, and as we’ve been doing things. We are forever thankful for every family that entrusted us with your pups all these years, thank you. I am so grateful for all of you allowing me to live my dream of being surrounded by dogs day in and day out, every day. I don’t know how I’m going to manage a quiet house. We’re thankful for you.
