Well, fall break has come and gone, and what a busy week it was! 🍂🐾❤️

We were so busy loving on all your babies that posting pictures took a back seat! And while we have HUNDREDS of adorable photos, we’ve decided that trying to catch up on all of them might take us until Christmas. 🤣

So we’re sharing just a handful of the happy faces, silly moments, and sweet little personalities that made fall break so much fun! Consider this a tiny peek into a whole lot of cuteness!

Now we’re officially giving ourselves permission to skip the photo catch-up and get back to our regularly scheduled cuteness!

Thank you all for keeping us so busy, for trusting us with your babies, and for another wonderful fall break at the Barn! We sure do love our Red Barn family! ❤️🐾

Good Monday morning!

Playing catch up again. It won’t let me post videos and pictures at the same time. But look at these models guys!

🐾 A little about group play at the Red Barn…

We get asked often about group play and socialization, so we wanted to explain a little about how we do things.

We are a boarding facility first, not a traditional doggie daycare. Our guests change every day, which makes established play groups difficult.

Instead, we sometimes use a buddy system. When we have dogs with similar sizes, temperaments, and play styles, we may introduce them and let them play together while they’re here. Occasionally that becomes a small group, but we keep groups to a maximum of four dogs.

We will never put dogs together just for the sake of group play. If your dog doesn’t have a good match during their stay, that’s okay! They still get plenty of playtime, attention, love, and interaction with us. ❤️

Sometimes friendships happen here, and we love when they do. But keeping your dog safe, happy, and loved will always come first.
