Owned and operated by a former vet tech, and a third generation dog groomer, with over 20 years of experience.

UPDATE: We had a wonderful response to this, and several compassionate folks have already signed up to help! We’re currently at capacity for this event. Thank you so much for your support; it truly means a lot.

Fireworks are fun for humans, but scary for shelter pets. 🎆🐶
We are inviting calm, caring volunteers to comfort our animals during local firework displays.

Congratulations to the Red Barn Pet Resort Pet of the Month for June!!!🎉🐶 Meet Mabel! Mabel was rescued from a shelter about 6 years ago. She lived with her mom in her dorm with her, so they grew very close. Due to coming from a shelter, boarding is a little scary for her at first, but she quickly figures out she’s safe and is the best happy, goofy girl! She loves water, playing fetch, & wants all the cuddles!

Remi will win $50, her design on the cover, and a coloring book.

It was so hard to decide with all the entries, but just look at the color and design on that picture….it’s exactly what we were looking for.

We are so excited for our 2026 Coloring Book and can’t wait to show you the completed cover.

Today we say “see you later” to our girl Kirsten. 🤍

She was our very first employee, and she’s been by our side for almost two years — through the growth, the chaos, the good days and the hard ones. She has poured herself into Red Barn, and it shows in every corner of this place.

She’s stepping away to rest, to be present, and to welcome the sweetest new chapter — and we couldn’t be more excited for her. We didn’t do a big send-off, because honestly, she’s become family. And we already know we’ll be seeing her soon.

We love you more than you’ll ever know, Kirsten. We can’t wait to love on that baby. ♥️
