🐾✨ RVT WEEK SPOTLIGHT: ERICA! ✨🐾

Today we’re celebrating Erica Fisher, RVT! 💙

Erica has been part of the Animal Care Associates family since June 1, 2020, and we are so lucky to have her! She is not only an incredible Registered Veterinary Technician, but also one of our Senior Surgical Technicians.

Originally a country girl from Jackson County, WV, Erica made her way to the “big city” of Charleston and she definitely brought her love for ALL creatures with her! 😂

At home, Erica and her husband, Derek, have a big blended family of 7 kiddos, ranging in age from 26 all the way down to 7 . And if that wasn’t enough to keep life interesting, their family also includes a dog, a cat, 2 parakeets, 2 guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and 12 TARANTULAS! 🕷️😳

Needless to say… they really do run a zoo! 😂❤️

Erica, thank you for the dedication, compassion, and hard work you bring to our team every day especially in surgery! We appreciate you more than you know!

Abby graduated from the Carver Career Center Veterinary Technology Programand has a true love for all things furry, scaly, and everything in between! 🐶🐱🐍

While Abby loves all critters, she has a special interest in exotic animals which makes her a pretty awesome person to have around when our less-conventional patients come through the doors! 🦎🐍

At home, Abby has two cats, Gravee and Fleetwood, and a ball python named Nikki. Clearly, her love for animals doesn’t stop when she clocks out! 😂❤️

Whether she’s caring for a familiar furry face or one of our more unusual patients, Abby brings her love for animals and veterinary medicine to everything she does.

Abby, thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and for bringing your love of ALL creatures to Animal Care Associates! We’re so happy you’re part of our team! 💙🐾
