Anyone available to give this guy his freedom ride? He is in a shelter in Lexington, SC and needs a lift to Charleston, SC either Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Would need to arrive in Charleston by 2pm.

Our stunningly handsome boy โ€“ Beauregard!๐Ÿ˜
He is enjoying life in his foster home and is ready to find his forever family. According to his foster mom, he is probably the sweetest dog sheโ€™s ever interacted with. Beauregard is very low energy and loves curling up on the couch or in a human bed. And he is obsessed with any person he meets.

Beauregard does fine with other dogs, but is more dog neutral and doesn't seem to care if they are around or not. And heโ€™s a really fast learnerโ€ฆas long as food is involved.๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ He would do best in a home without small children and no cats present.

Beauregard is 4 years old and weighs 65 lbs. He is heartworm positive and is available for a local Charleston, SC area foster to adopt home that is comfortable with the activity restrictions for the duration of treatment. You can find an adoption application at carolinacoonhoundrescue.com/adopt

Looking for a loyal companion? Thatโ€™s Melly (fka Dixie). She just wants to be near her people and will follow you from room to room, curl up at your feet while you work, and claim her spot in your favorite chair the second you are not looking.

Melly is equal parts couch potato and adventure dog depending on the hour. At the dog park she is an absolute blast, especially when she gets another dog to chase her because she will run forever. She goes wild for a squeaky toy and could spend a solid chunk of her afternoon working through a snuffle mat to find every last piece of kibble.

She would do best as the only dog in the home as she does get possessive with food around other animals. She is fine with other dogs as long as food is not involved. She thrives with a consistent routine and is loving to everyone she meets.

Our soulful senior with gorgeous eyes that match the color of his fur. Meet Woody!

Heโ€™s the perfect mix โ€“ playful but not energic, sweet and goofy. For the most part, he has a chill, laid-back vibe. And heโ€™s a lover! When he sniffs your face, he gives little Eskimo kisses. We donโ€™t think he has lived inside before but we can say he is adjusting well!

He would love a home with another dog to play with and a yard to hang out in with his new best friend. Woody is house trained and doesnโ€™t seem to pay attention to cats. As you can imagine, he hasnโ€™t been walked on a leash before but is continuing to learn each day.

It was a busy week last week. And thanks to a foster stepping up, Capers life was saved in the nick of time!

She is settling into her foster home and more than likely getting the best nights of sleep in her entire life. As you can see, she has some skin issues that we are addressing and we canโ€™t wait to help this sweet girl find her happily ever after.

Capers is a year old and weighs 33 lbs. Welcome to your new start Capers!
