THREE BROTHERS. THREE VERY DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES. 🩵
Meet James, Jesse & Jason — three 3-month-old brothers, each weighing just 10–15 lbs, and each bringing something completely different to the table.

JAMES is the cuddle bug. This sweet boy LOVES being held, and cuddle time ends when James says it ends. Put him down too soon and he’ll holler to let you know there has clearly been a misunderstanding. He’s affectionate, snuggly and has plenty of personality packed into that little body.

JESSE is the shy guy of the group. He likes to take a minute to watch you and figure things out, but every day he gets a little braver. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side starts to shine. And when mealtime rolls around? Suddenly, shy Jesse is nowhere to be found. He plans to be first to the bowl and would kindly like his brothers to get their own. 😂

JASON is the welcoming committee. He’s usually the first brother there to greet you and is always happy to see his person. He may be little, but he has absolutely no problem holding his own with his brothers—especially when food is involved. More than anything, Jason seems ready to have a person of his very own to love.

Three brothers. One cuddle bug, one cautious little foodie, and one tiny social butterfly. 🐾

Which brother sounds like yours? 🩵

ADOPTER NEEDED FOR MOJAVE ❤️
Mojave is just 4 months old and an absolute sweetheart. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her personality really starts to shine.

She’s playful, smart, and has all that fun puppy energy. She gets along great with other dogs AND cats and would fit beautifully into a family ready to give her the love and confidence she deserves.

For such a young pup, Mojave is already doing so well. She sleeps great in her crate, is making wonderful progress with potty training, and sits like a champ. A fenced-in backyard would be ideal so she has plenty of room to run, play, and get those puppy zoomies out.

Mojave just needs someone to give her that first chance — whether it’s a foster home where she can continue to blossom or the family that decides she’s already home.

4 months old • Dog friendly • Cat friendly • Crate trained • Doing great with potty training

Who has a little room for Mojave? ❤️

SHE’S READY FOR HER NEXT CHAPTER ❤️

Londyn is a 6 year old, 60 pound sweetheart who has already completed her heartworm treatment and is ready to enjoy life. She’s house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, and absolutely loves people. Her favorite place is right beside you, whether you’re relaxing on the couch or walking from room to room. 💗

She has wonderful house manners, prefers to eat her meals in her crate, and never says no to belly rubs. She’s the kind of dog who makes fostering easy and reminds you every day why you opened your home.

If you’ve been thinking about fostering, Londyn is the perfect girl to welcome into your home. Journey Home Rescue Alliance provides the supplies and support. You provide the couch and the love.

HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS… 🐾
And by “lose,” we mean send him off to his next stop after giving him a couch for just 10 days.
Meet Butterball 🤍

This handsome, fluffy guy is an 8-month-old Pyrenees mix who needs a TEMP FOSTER for about 10 days.

No long-term commitment. No “but what if I get attached?” excuses. 😉 Just 10 days of giving Butterball a safe place to land.

Who wants to spend 10 days with this handsome guy and then attempt to actually give him back? 😂

PROFESSIONAL CUDDLE BUG. AMATEUR RAIN PEE-ER. 😂☔️

Meet Rayne, one of our newest saves who made it out just in time.

At only 10 months old and 40 pounds, Rayne was facing euthanasia before getting her second chance. And now that she’s safe, we’re getting to know one seriously sweet girl.

Rayne is a professional-level snuggler. If cuddling were a competitive sport, she’d have sponsorships. She wants to be close to her people, loves affection, and may actually prefer being told what a good girl she is over getting a treat.

She’s dog friendly and would LOVE to have a canine buddy in her forever home. She has plenty of young-dog energy, loves being part of whatever is happening, and appears to suffer from a pretty serious case of FOMO. If something is going on, Rayne would like it noted that she should absolutely be included.

She’s also mostly potty trained.

Why mostly?

Because Princess Rayne has reviewed the situation and determined that peeing outside in the rain is beneath her. We’re working through this disagreement.

But truly, Rayne is an incredibly sweet girl who wants to make her people happy. She’s affectionate, eager to please, playful, dog friendly, and already proving to be the kind of dog who is going to make someone an amazing best friend.

❤️ 10 months old
🐾 40 pounds
🐶 Dog friendly & would love a dog friend
🏡 Mostly potty trained
💉 Spayed & up to date on vaccines
⚡ Young, playful & energetic
🥰 Professional cuddle bug
👑 Anti-rain bathroom enthusiast
⭐ Thrives on praise & affection
👀 FOMO: severe

Rayne was saved just in time.

Now let’s find her the family she was saved for.

I KNOW WHAT YOU SEE. 👀
Another pittie. Another tan-and-white face in a rescue feed full of dogs who need homes.

Another dog you’ll probably scroll past because there will be another one underneath me.

But I’m not “another dog.”

I’M MACY. 💗

And if you only knew me from this picture, you’d miss all the things that actually make me me.

You wouldn’t know that I’m 4–5 years old and past all that puppy chaos.

You wouldn’t know I’m already crate trained and house trained.

That I walk beautifully on a leash.

That I’m calm in the car.

That I’m easygoing, affectionate and happiest simply being near my person.

You wouldn’t know that I’m the kind of dog who doesn’t need your whole world to revolve around her. I just want to be part of it.

A walk. A soft bed. A spot beside you. Someone to come home to.

That would be everything to me.

There is one thing that might make my home a little harder to find: I need to be your only dog.

I’ve been around other dogs, but recent introductions have shown us that the happiest version of me is going to be the one who gets her people all to herself.

Maybe that means I’ll wait longer.

But somewhere out there is someone who only wants one really good dog.

I hope they see this.

Because I’m not just another face in your feed.

I’m Macy. And I’m still waiting for someone to stop scrolling long enough to see me. ❤️

🐾 4–5 years old | ~60 lbs
🐾 House & crate trained
🐾 Great on leash
🐾 Calm in the car
🐾 Affectionate & easygoing
🐾 Only-dog home
🐾 Adoption fee fully sponsored

If I’m not your dog, maybe I’m someone else’s.

Please share me until I find them.

Charleston Animal Society Berkeley Campus is full - bursting at the seams - maxed out! They need help from the community now! 🙏

If you have been considering adopting a new family member, now is the time! Adult dogs are FEE WAIVED right now, which means you can bring your new bestfriend home for FREE!

Sadly, adoptions just aren't happening at the rate they need them to be... 😞 and many of the dogs are waiting weeks, if not months, to find homes. The shelter is seeking ADOPTION AMBASSADORS to advocate for them and provide them a temporary break from shelter living.

Adoption Ambassadors give shelter animals a better chance of being noticed and adopted because they can:

• Spend extra one-on-one time with animals to help them feel comfortable and confident.

• Take photos and videos that show the animal’s personality.

• Share the animal’s story on social media and with friends, family, and the neighbors.

• Help potential adopters understand what makes that animal special.

• Provide feedback to shelter staff about the animal’s behavior and preferences.

• Help the transition from the shelter environment into a loving home.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please stop into the shelter this week! Staff will help match you with a wonderful dog. Fostering hours are 12pm-3pm on weekdays and 10-3pm on weekends. 🐾

40 POUNDS OF PRETTY MUCH PERFECT.
Meet Lacy. 🩷
She’s 2 years old, 40 pounds, and the kind of dog that makes you wonder how she ever ended up needing rescue in the first place.

Lacy is that perfect medium size — big enough for adventures, small enough to fit comfortably beside you on the couch, and just right for pretty much everything in between.

But her size isn’t even the best part.

She is gentle, affectionate, calm, and incredibly easy to have around. She loves being close to her people, is wonderful with children of all ages, and is just as happy relaxing in the yard as she is cuddling on the couch or following you around the house.

And since arriving in foster?

We haven’t heard one complaint about this girl. Not one.

She was saved from the euthanasia list at the shelter, and now that she’s safe, she’s showing us exactly what we almost lost: a really, really great dog. 🐾

No dramatic sales pitch needed.

Lacy is 2 years old.
She’s the perfect 40 pounds.
She’s sweet.
She’s affectionate.
She’s great with kids.
She’s easy to love.

Now she just needs someone to realize that the perfect dog might already be right here. 🩷

Let’s find Lacy her forever family.

OTTER NEEDS FOSTER TAKEOVER TODAY🚨
Otter is 6 years old, 57 pounds, and finally starting to show us who he really is — and he is SUCH a love.

This sweet boy lives for pets, snuggles and giving kisses. He’s good with dogs, good with kids, walks well on a leash and is doing great with his house manners. He even stands by the door when he needs to go out!

He’s becoming more comfortable every day — playing with his toys, chewing on his bone, relaxing around the house and repeatedly trying to convince us that he absolutely belongs on the couch. 😂

Otter is still working on crate training and would do best with someone who can be patient with him while he settles in although he’s doing amazing with the progress we have seen in a week!

His one request: no cats, please. He thinks cats and squirrels are meant for chasing. Although he was cat non reactive in the shelter. As always slow introductions must happen for dogs and cats.

Otter doesn’t need much. Just a safe place to land, someone to snuggle and a little time to keep becoming the happy dog we’re starting to see.

Who can foster Otter? ❤️
