🐾❤️ October is Adopt-a-Dog Month! ❤️🐾

Thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your family? There are SO many amazing dogs waiting for their people…from playful puppies to sweet senior pups who just want a cozy couch and someone to love. 🥹🐶

Adopting is more than giving a dog a home… you’re giving them a second chance at the life they deserve. 🏡✨

Before bringing home your new best friend, remember to schedule a wellness visit! A new-pet checkup is a great time to establish a baseline for their health, discuss vaccines, parasite prevention, nutrition, behavior, and all those “is this normal?” questions. 😉

And remember: rescue dogs deserve Fear Free care, too! 💕 We want their first experiences at the vet to be as positive, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.

🐕 Adopt. Love. Advocate. Repeat.

Our team has been VERY spoiled this week!!! 🥹💙🐾

A huge thank you to sweet Don’s family; Kelly, Suzanne & everyone we’ve had the pleasure of loving over the years, our amazing neighbors at Baguette Magic and our incredible manager + company for making our team feel so appreciated and cared for. 🫶🏼

It’s the good teams, good leadership, amazing clients, happy pets, and supportive neighbors that make doing this job just a little bit easier…and SO much more fun. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful community surrounding us. 💙

From delicious treats and lunches to a day of getting absolutely humbled at the Charleston Aqua Park😂💦 we’ve definitely been feeling the love!

Thank you for spoiling us! We appreciate you more than you know. 🐾💙

Meet the newest member of our team, Dr. Magenta Kline! 💙🐾

Dr. Kline has been practicing veterinary medicine for 6 years and has a special love for internal medicine (and if you ask her favorite animal… it’s always cats! 🐱).

A fun fact you might not know: Dr. Kline originally planned to pursue human medicine and even spent 3 months in Rwanda working at an HIV clinic. But after meeting the veterinarian caring for the mountain gorillas, everything changed…and she knew veterinary medicine was where she belonged.
🌍🦍❤️

And here’s our favorite full-circle moment… the adorable kitten pictured is also named Magenta! after none other than Dr. Kline herself! 🥹💕

We’re so excited to have Dr. Kline on the West Ashley Vet Clinic team. Be sure to give her a warm welcome in the comments! 👇💙
