I do always recommend radiographs and bloodwork to help search for any potential causes for these cases, but they were declined. That’s understandable and these owners already did more than most would for their chicken. ❤️

Educating on social media is a labor of love. Informative, nuanced, balanced posts don’t go viral because they don’t create a knee-jerk emotional response in you.

Fear, anger, and outrage are much easier to package and much easier to share.

That doesn’t mean emotional content is inherently misinformation. But when a post makes you feel something strongly, that’s often the best time to slow down and ask: Am I being given the information I need to form my own opinion, or am I being told how to feel?

None of us are immune to misinformation. Intelligence and education don’t protect us from being human.

Critical thinking does. ❤️
