Chester had a big day, but he’s back at his foster home and doing well 🧡🧡🧡
First, I’d like to say a giant thank you to his lovely foster mom Heather. She took him to and from his appointment and has been so steadfast in giving him such great care.
Second, I’d like just show our deep appreciation for everyone that donated towards Chester’s care. The total is on the last picture here and we are beyond thankful to have 1,000 of the 1,236 dollars covered. Fostering independently is pretty stressful, but this community makes it less daunting because we have so many people that are willing to support our efforts.
So now onto Chester! The vet didn’t tell me exactly how many teeth Chester has removed, but Heather relayed to me that they told her 11 teeth were removed! They only charged us for 4 so when she told me 11 I was shocked! He didn’t have any visible reasons they could find for his sneezy behavior, so we elected to do an upper respiratory panel so see if we can get some definite answers. Chester did have his chin cyst removed, so he’ll just be even MORE handsome now. Lastly, he apparently had a developing ear infection and that will be getting treated!
So he went home with teeth removed, a cyst removed, and medications to help him feel better from any pain and the ear infection.
He’s such a sweet soul and we’re so excited to have him this much closer to being ready for adoption! 🧡
