World Mental Health Day: The Healing Power of Pets!

Did you know your pet might be one of your best sources of emotional support?

Pets have a special way of making even our toughest days a little brighter. Whether it’s a dog greeting you like you’ve been gone for 10 years, a cat curling up in your lap, or a furry friend reminding you to take a break and enjoy the moment, the bond we share with our pets can do wonders for our well-being!

🐾 Pets can help us by:
💚 Providing comfort and companionship
🐾 Encouraging us to get outside and stay active
💚 Helping reduce feelings of loneliness
🐾 Giving us a daily routine and a reason to smile
💚 Offering unconditional love, without a single judgment!

And remember, just as our pets can support our mental health, they need us to care for theirs, too! Enrichment, playtime, exercise, and a safe, loving environment all help our furry family members thrive.

This World Mental Health Day, take a moment to appreciate the paws, purrs, and unconditional love that make life a little better. And if you're struggling, remember that it's okay to reach out for support. You don't have to face tough days alone. 🤗

🌟 Employee of the Month: Terri! 🌟

This month, we're excited to celebrate Terri, one of our wonderful nurses!

When Terri isn't caring for our patients, you'll find her reading, walking dogs, horseback riding, or working in her yard and garden. She loves staying active and spending time outdoors!

Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, when good food, family, and a little time to relax come together.

If she could travel anywhere in the world, Terri would head to Montana for the wide-open spaces, horses, and cowboys. Sounds like the perfect adventure!

Her favorite TV show is Modern Family, and her favorite song is the classic "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac.

And when it comes to treats, you can't go wrong with a Dark Chocolate Milky Way!

We're so lucky to have Terri as part of our team. Her love for animals, dedication to her work, and calm, caring nature make her a wonderful part of our clinic family.

🎉 Congratulations, Terri, on being our Employee of the Month! 🐴🐶💜
