COURTESY POST - Cat Looking for a Home!
I have the sweetest cat I'm looking to re-home due to him beginning to be aggressive with all my other cats. Here's a bit about him:
His name is Pinny (short for Pinch of Sanity). He is roughly 5 years old. I adopted him just over 2 years ago and he truly is one of the most loving cats I have ever had, but hes recently started fighting with my boyfriends cats and we've tried almost everything to keep him but unfortunately we can't do much else. I would love to find a home for him where he can get the love and attention he deserves.
He is a snuggle bug who always wants to be on your lap or laying in bed with you. He will follow you around making sure you're getting everything done properly! He's not very fond of closed doors, especially when you attempt to lock him out of the room your in. He will sit there and meow constantly until he can see you again. He was okay with my other cat when it was just the two of them, but since I moved in with my boyfriend a couple months ago, he has started being mean towards all of the other cats.
I believe he will thrive as a single cat who can get all the attention to himself. He's not super fond of children. I got him when my son was 1 and there were some minor conflicts between them, but as my son got older and Pinny got more accustomed to him, they got along fantastic. So I wouldn't say he's not good with kids, it might just be a little rough in the adjustment phase, so older kids might be best.
He loves high up spaces, so you'll often find him on your counter or table even if you don't want him there. I've tried everything I can think of to train him not to do it, but he still does it anyways.
He really only eats crunchy food, I offer him wet food every night but he chooses not to eat it. On occasion he will, but more often than not he just licks it a little bit then walks away. He will drink water out of pretty much anything. We have both a bowl and a fountain and he drinks out of both great. No litter box issues ever.
He does look like he has an issue with one of his eyes. I took him to the vet after I adopted him and they gave me an antibiotic for it. He took it all and nothing ever changed so he's just got a little quirk to him. It doesn't seem to ever be an issue for him.
Sorry if this is long, but if you're interested please reach out and we can talk more about him! My phone number is 928-444-6476
