The Critter Connection The Critter Connection is a full-service veterinary hospital that offers many affordable services. We also provide services for large animals and exotics.

We provide spays/neuters, general surgery, dentals, x-rays, vaccines, and in-home euthanasia. Appointment hours Monday, Tuesday Thursday & Friday 8-5pm
Boarding pick-ups/drop-offs on
Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday is 9-10am & 5-6pm

WE ARE NOT THE COUNTY SHELTER!
STOP telling people to bring animals here! We CANNOT TAKE THEM! A very rude woman came in and tried to make us take this one and when we told her we didn't have kennels, she told us we were terrible, awful people and unleashed her and left her in our parking lot. 🤬🤬🤬

If you FIND A DOG OR CAT, please have a plan to keep it or take it to the shelter because we cannot take it. I can't stress this enough. We currently have VERY few kennels and we have to be able to have housing for our surgery and hospital patients .

The clinic sits by the road so we had no choice but to go catch her and bring her in but this is not our responsibility. The county has a shelter. If you don't like how the shelter is ran, I strongly recommend that you go take it up with the county officials. If you sit complacent, nothing changes.

If this is your doggy and it was kidnapped, please come get her.

Reminder! BINGO tonight at Lincoln city fairgrounds to help support one of our local rescue that do so much for everyone! $25 for tickets. It's a fun time! Starts at 6p.

Schedule for this week!
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING OUR FERAL/COMMUNITY CAT OPPORTUNITY, WE WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND WAITING A WEEK OR TWO AS EVERYONE WILL TRY TO PILE IN THIS WEEK AND WE WILL HAVE TO TURN YOU AWAY IF WE ARE FULL! We have funds for lots of cats (100+) so it will not run out in a hurry. Please plan accordingly.
We are open Sat 9a-1p then we recommend everyone in Lincoln and surrounding counties to go support Friends of Animals in Lincoln County Rescue. They do SO much for the area and this is one of their biggest fundraisers for the year!
As always, we can use donations of old towels/blankets/sheets, paper towels, trash bags, disinfectant wipes, dawn dish soap, etc. Please help us keep prices low!

Starting NEXT WEEK-
We will be taking FIVE walk-in feral or community cats daily. Drop off Between 730 and 9a. $25 CASH ONLY. It will pay for surgery, Rabies, FVRCP, ear tip and pain meds if owner can give them. ALL CATS UNDER THIS GRANT MUST RECEIVE AN EAR TIP! THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS SO DO NOT ASK!
Cats need to be in a carrier or live trap. If you have more than 5, please call and we can discuss scheduling a bigger group. It's otherwise FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
We will run this special until the grant monies are gone.

Yesterday we were so busy I forgot to make a post! Thank you to Jessica Spry Porter and family for sending lunch to the staff of The Critter Connection ! We sincerely appreciate you and we're so sad for the loss of your furbaby. She was such a sweet girl

PSA- WE ARE NOT A DROP OFF POINT FOR YOUR UNWANTED ANIMALS! DO NOT LEAVE THEM ON OUR PORCH AFTER HOURS! There are cameras surrounding the building and it is against the law to abandon an animal. We are not the shelter. We do not have the kennel space.

This little kitten was left in our trash pile and would have been picked up unknowingly by the garbage company this morning had my tech not got they early and heard it meowing. The last thing that was left abandoned probably got eaten by the stray dogs that run around as all we found was a bloody box. DO NOT leave animals after hours!
