I want to take a minute to introduce y’all to Nicole! ❤️

If you’ve been around Pleasant View Bed & Biscuit lately, you’ve probably seen her helping love on your pups. Nicole has been such a blessing to me, and honestly, I don’t know what I would do without her.

For the first time in FIVE years, I’m getting to take a little vacation knowing my babies—and yours—are in loving, capable hands. As a small business owner, that’s not something I take lightly. Trust is everything when it comes to the dogs in my care, and finding someone who loves them like I do is incredibly rare.

Not only is Nicole amazing with the dogs here, but she also owns her own pet sitting business, Nicole's Pet Services LLC. If you’re ever looking for someone to care for your pets in your home while you’re away, she comes highly recommended by ME! 🐾

Nicole has a heart for animals, a strong work ethic, and the kind of kindness you just can’t teach. I am beyond grateful to have her as part of the Pleasant View Bed & Biscuit family and even more grateful to call her a friend.

So if you see her around, be sure to give her a warm welcome! She’s a huge part of why I’m finally getting to enjoy a little time away without worrying about the animals I love so much.

Just a friendly reminder that we ask clients to avoid dog parks and daycare facilities for 10 days prior to boarding.

We’re certainly not discouraging dogs from getting out and enjoying life! However, many of our guests only leave their home environment once or twice a year, and their immune systems may not be accustomed to the same level of exposure as more active pups.

At Pleasant View Bed & Biscuit, we have extensive indoor and outdoor cleaning and disinfecting protocols in place to help keep everyone safe. Pet owners can help, too, by limiting exposure to higher-risk environments before boarding—ESPECIALLY with all of the recent rainfall.

I plan to get caught up on computer work tomorrow, so if you’ve requested a reservation change or amendment, you should receive an updated confirmation email by tomorrow afternoon.

I’ll also be returning texts and calls. This week has brought a lot of communication, and if I happened to miss your message, I sincerely apologize. Please never hesitate to text or call again—I would much rather hear from you twice than accidentally miss you!

I’d much rather be outside throwing tennis balls and handing out belly rubs, but every now and then I have to sit down and tackle the computer work that keeps this little business running. 😅

One minute the dogs are watching a goose guard her nest… the next they’re front row for a horse rolling dramatically in the pasture like it’s a full Broadway performance 😂🌾🐴
