Modern Companion is a specialty pet boutique catering to both dogs and cats. Our retail store gave us a home to showcase our line of accessories to our local community. We also curate other products with fantastic pet entrepreneurs and small businesses. We have a wide variety of chews, toys, health/wellness products, and even stuff for humans. Every product sold in our store is carefully curated,

First, a genuine apology. Our hours have shifted more than I would have liked over the past couple of months, and I know that can be frustrating. Balancing a new baby, scheduling conflicts, and making sure we have the right coverage has been a lot to navigate. I plan our hours around when I know we can truly show up for you. When you walk into this shop, I want someone there who is present, helpful, and excited to be there. That matters more to me than being open longer.

Starting next week May 18th through the end of August our hours will be changing! If those hours do not work for you, please do not let that stop you. Send us a DM and I am genuinely happy to open up before or after hours for you. I also offer private shopping experiences, which are perfect if the schedule does not line up, you are coming in from out of town, or you just want to bring your dog that may be reactive along for the trip. Comment “private experience” below and I will send you the booking link.

We really do appreciate every single person who has walked through our door and supported this little shop. Things have been slow lately, and that support means more than you know. If you love what we do, the biggest favor you can do for us is tell a friend.

What happens when you bring women-owned businesses together? This!!!!!!

Saturday was everything I hoped it would be and honestly so much more. The sun came out, the parking lot came alive, and our community showed up in the most beautiful way.

A huge thank you to our incredible vendors who showed up, set up, and poured their heart into their booth! You made this market what it was. Watching all of you connect with each other and with our community was something I will never forget!!

Happy Mother’s Day to ALL MOMS. The dog moms, the cat moms, the human moms, the soon-to-be moms, the ones holding babies in their hearts, and the ones still in waiting. I know all too well how complicated this day can feel. And I am so grateful this sweet boy gets to be mine, loves his fur siblings so much, and gets to watch his mom chase her dreams. ❤️
