Preferably those of you in the Missouri area and/or those of my group of veterinary friends, or animal lovers with experience in splinting legs and bottle feeding calves? My sister has a calf born with a leg deformity. Drank colostrum within first few hours of life with gusto, yay! PM me for inquiries. They have too much on their plates to work with this little guy so any help is appreciated!

Microfilaria (baby heartworms) in a dog that had not had veterinary care in 11 years. South Carolina is 3rd (I think) in the United States for the number of Heartworm positive cases. This is in a drop of blood with a coverslip over it to spread the blood thin in order to visualize the babies better. Heartworm preventatives kill the babies before they develop into adults which can be as long as 20 inches and cause serious illness and eventual death.
