A big congratulations to Sara Zangi and her new horse, Potential Bing!!! Sara started taking lessons with us when she was 4 years old. We have had the pleasure of working with Sara every Saturday that we were not away at a show or Sara was not singing, or playing the piano, Science competitions, Girl Scouts, ect. Sara's father, Kambiz has faithfully brought Sara to her lessons for the past 10 years. Sara has been one of the best kids to work with, always positive, even naturered, quiet and a passion and willingness to learn. She has become like a daughter to us. We have been to her piano recitals, Christmas parties, and one time she even played a song on the piano called "Cowboy John" for John when he almost lost his leg in a tractor accident. Sara recently graduated form one of our Equine Studies Courses and at the Banquet we not only honored the students but also the parents who have not only invested financially, but most importantly time, and encouragement every week, in particualar Sara's father Kambiz. In all our years of teaching we have never seen such a faithful, proud father who truly invested his time and heartfelt love for his daughter every Saturday. He is always cheering her on and always so proud of her. He always brings carrots for Sara to give to the horse she is riding and water for Sara. He is always excited to share with us Sara's latest accomplishments, not in a bragging way but in a heartfelt way. Over the past few years Sara has particularly taken a liking to and has developed a special relationship with Bling. Sara has also over the past few months really mastering the art of horsemanship and sympatico, a level not many riders ever achieve. It has been such a blessing to watch Sara grow and learn and to see her through all the good times and not so good. Unfortunately over a year ago, Sara's parents divorced. Sara being an only child this was heart wrenching and at the critical age of 13. Praise God he is bigger than any situation, and that we have the opportunity to pray for everyone God brings accross our path, whether for a season or decades. When we come to the end of our lives here on earth, it really about the people, the relationships. How many lives did we touch or have a positive impact? Did we give hope or healing ? The following year could have left Sara depressed, failing or droping out in school, looking to dark things such as drugs, gangs, or even su***de to deal with the spirit of seperation, but praise God we have the power through Christ Jesus to pray and interceed for each person that crosses our path, and praise God for Sara's praying father and grandmother! Sara has come through victorious, completely healed, staight A student in school, almost unheard of! She even just recently showed Bling and won almost all her classes! She was the most relaxed and happy I have ever seen her! I am so happy for Sara and Bling's future, as these beautiful creatures teach us so much about life and unconditional love, and they are a mirror of us that doesn't lie. I can share so many wonderful stories of how God has calmed the storms and healed so many through his beautiful, majestic creation the horse, but this is a truly heartwarming story for us. Sara's grandmother, Marzi who lives in Maryland, who we have only met one time came down to visit and purchased Bling for Sara's 15th Birthday! We were turly humbled when she called us family and said how through the darkest times for Sara and her son Kambiz, when they came here it was a happy place for both of them that helped to carry them through. To God Be All the Glory! Love this family and we consider them family and praise and thank God he hears all our prayers. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Sara, Kambiz and Bling!
