I’m incredibly honored that The Pony Island received the FIRST PLACE award for Equine-Related Website from the American Horse Publications Awards 🐴

“The Pony Island website delivers an exceptional and highly cohesive brand experience that is clearly aligned with its mission to educate and engage young horse enthusiasts.”

From the beginning, my goal with The Pony Island was to create a horse learning space that felt:
• welcoming
• creative
• educational
• visually engaging
• and approachable for kids and families

The illustrations, games, courses, printables, and overall experience were all designed to work together as one connected world of horse learning.

This project has been a true intersection of design, illustration, and education, building an experience that goes beyond content and into guided learning for kids.

It’s been a unique challenge to design something that is both engaging and instructional, and I’m grateful to see it recognized.
