Pender AIR PenderAIR For years, pet owners have looked to Pender for help in understanding all the rules and regulations of shipping beloved pets near and far.

We also provided many personal services to ensure that our clients' pets traveled safely and comfortably to their destination... Well word got out. Pet owners outside of our client base (the veterinary practices and the pet retreat) started asking us for help. It's not in our nature to refuse anyone who needs help, so we decided to gear up to accommodate their requests. We are happy to report that

we can now offer our comprehensive, compassionate shipping services to anyone in the Greater Washington DC area who needs to ship a pet across the country or around the world. That's why we created PenderAIR. The "AIR" of PenderAIR is an acronym for Animals in Relocation. As pets go through their relocation, they are guided, comforted, encouraged and protected by one of our concierge travel coordinators every step of the way. Our pet shipping service is the most caring and comprehensive in the metro DC area.

UPDATE: India enforces ban on certain dog breeds.

We wish to inform you of a significant regulatory change in India that impacts the pet transport industry, specifically concerning certain dog breeds.

The Indian authorities have announced a ban on Import of the following dog breeds, including their mixed and cross breeds:

Pitbull Terrier
Tosa Inu
American Staffordshire Terrier
Fila Brasileiro
Dogo Argentino
American Bulldog
Boerboel
Kangal
Central Asian Shepherd Dog (Ovcharka)
Caucasian Shepherd Dog (Ovcharka)
South Russian Shepherd Dog (Ovcharka)
Tornjak
Sarplaninac
Japanese Tosa
Akita
Mastiffs (Boerbulls)
Rottweiler
Terriers (specific types not specified)
Rhodesian Ridgeback
Wolf dogs
Presa Canario
Akbash Dog
Moscow Guard Dog
Cane Corso
Any dog commonly known as a Bandog (or Ban Dog)
This ban has immediate effect and applies nationwide. It is crucial for our members who are involved in the transportation, relocation, or handling of pets to be aware of this development to ensure compliance with the new regulations.

We recommend revisiting your current operational plans as it may be necessary to inform your clients and partners about these changes to avoid any potential disruptions in planned pet relocations to India.
