🐴 This month's newsletter is a little different than usual.
A few weeks ago we lost our polo mare Ruby, and it hit harder than I expected. So this issue is about that — grieving a horse, and the kind of loss that people don't always understand unless they've lived it themselves.
I asked several close friends and colleagues, a therapist and an animal communicator, both of whom knew Ruby, to share their perspective too. There's some real comfort in here, and some practical resources if you're going through something similar.

Another great day of horses and horse people! After a morning of sessions we are now St. Croix Knoll Stables supporting the 4H club with St Croix Saddlery. Maya and Steve Holewa doing a great job holding down the fort.
