This sweet girl came in feeling a little under the weather with an upset tummy, and spent most of her visit tucked safely in Dr. Savarese's arms. 🐾

Tummy troubles are so common in dogs, and most of the time a little care and comfort goes a long way. Violet was such a brave patient through all of it, and we're happy to report she's already feeling more like herself. 💜

Behind every big yawn and toothy grin is a whole lot going on. Dental disease is one of the most common things we see in pets, and it tends to sneak up quietly. I could be a little extra bad breath, a favorite chew toy left untouched, or chewing on just one side. 🐾

The good news is that a lot of this gets better with small comforts at home. Keeping a steady routine, offering quiet places to retreat, adding enrichment like toys and scratching posts, and introducing any changes slowly can all help your cat feel safe again. 💜

Say hi to Frank! 🐾💜

I heard 'vet visit' and honestly? Best day ever. New friends, ear scratches, and someone told me I was a good boy approximately 400 times. 🐶✨

This smile walked in and instantly lit up the whole place. Frank made the rounds, charmed everyone he met, and wore his bandana like the absolute gentleman he is. 💜

Your pet seems perfectly fine… and that's exactly the point. 🐾💜

Here's something a lot of us don't realize: pets are wonderful at hiding when something's off. It's an instinct as old as their wild ancestors, and it means a cat or dog can feel under the weather long before we'd ever notice. So a yearly exam isn't about finding something wrong, it's about staying a step ahead.

A quick annual visit lets us:

• Catch small changes early, while they're easy to manage
• Check in on weight, teeth, joints, and heart
• Keep vaccines and preventives on schedule
• Set a healthy baseline we can compare to next year

Think of it as a wellness check for the picture of health. And if it's been a while since your pet's last one, we're always happy to see them. 💜

"I was just doing zoomies… the coffee table started it." 😅

Cats and dogs find a way... a scrape from the fence, a torn nail, a scuffle that ended badly, a spot that's suddenly raw from licking. Most wounds look scarier than they are, and a few gentle steps help while you decide whether it needs a look:

- Rinse with clean water or saline, not hydrogen peroxide
- Leave human antibiotic ointments in the cabinet
- Keep them from licking it if you can
- Watch for swelling, warmth, odor, or drainage
- Bite wounds are worth checking early, even tiny ones

And please never reach for human pain medication, Tylenol and Advil are genuinely dangerous for pets, even in small doses. We'd so much rather you ask. 💜
