Hey everyone! I am back in town and ready to see all your pups smiling faces! I am still not answering phone calls or messages till Monday as I am still on “vacation” but I would like to hit a subject that I’ve been wanting to talk about for a while.
Many of you know my poodle mix Jamison, he’s the reason I started grooming in the first place and furthered my love for the trade. This post is about him and how absolutely DISGUSTING he gets on the farm 🤣 he runs ramped with Wilma through my barn, all through the fields and any mud puddle there is he finds and makes that his bed for however long his heart desires. All that being said his hair stays nice, healthy and mat free and I’ll be 100% honest with you I do not brush him everyday. 🤯😱 I KNOW! You’d think as a groomer I would be embarrassed to say that, but I’m not, in fact I am proud to say it don’t need to spend hours grooming my dog after spending all day doing the same to clients! Here’s my secret, it’s not keeping him short, keeping him out of the dirt (I couldn’t do that if I tried) it’s not daily baths, and it’s not magic;) it’s how and when I groom him. Jamison gets bath once a week to once every 2 weeks, fully blow dried, and then brushed out COMPLETELY after. That’s it, that’s my secret. Boring I know 🤣 but simple and leaves no room for headache. Now I know I have full access to a tub and tools at all times so here’s what I’m offering to you guys, I’m offering weekly/ bi weekly baths and brush outs to anyone who would like for a fraction of your grooming cost. This will help not only you and your pups but also me when the time comes for their monthly/ bi monthly grooms! It will also help your pups be more familiar and comfortable being groomed as opposed to when they only see me every other month. Please feel more then free to reach out with any questions or for pricing! As always I’m so thankful for you guys and want only the best for your pups! ❤️
