I groomed the sweetest boy today! His name is Hero and he’s in foster care in Oacoma with Almost Home Canine Rescue & he’s been looking for a home for way too long! He did perfectly & gave me lots of kisses. He is the perfect size & weighs probably 40 pounds. There are so many things good & bad about owning your own business. But the hardest for me has been finding that balance between a personal and work life. It’s so hard to say no. But lately due to pain in my hands & wrists, I’ve had to say no. The good news is, it’s working and I’m not in constant pain and hopefully avoiding surgery. But due to the upcoming holidays & some travel, I will not be able to do any bath/deshedding dogs until March. I spent all weekend tentatively working on putting in appointments for all my regularly scheduled dogs. I will still make time for nail trims. So those of you that have been on a regular schedule, there are appointments for you. But I may be asking you to come a week or so earlier or later based on my availability. And although I love that you refer me, I am not taking new clients and do not plan to anytime soon.
My schedule is extremely tight the next few months. Please be on time for your appointment. After 10 minutes, you may be turned away & not rescheduled. No shows absolutely will not be rescheduled until March. If you can’t make your appointment, please notify me so we can get it changed.

Most of you know my love for rescue, and even though I’m not as involved as much as I used to be, I still do what I can! Lately, it’s been offering free grooms to dogs in foster care in our area. These are some of the cuties I’ve pampered lately. And let me tell you, every single one of them was so well behaved. The husky and the husky mix are both fostered in the area & up for adoption. I had the 2 most handsomest boys in today for their first grooms! Presley & Memphis were so well behaved! Although Memphis was really playing up the puppy dog eyes trying to get out of his bath then he realized he was getting ALL my attention for 1 1/2 hours & decided it wasnt so bad.
