Chalfont Veterinary Clinic is proud to announce that Dr. Jessica Applebaum will be officially joining the practice November 2, 2026, but you might just see her popping in for a shift here and there before that;) Along with Dr. Lindmeier and Dr. Risel and the entire CVC team, please welcome Dr. Applebaum and wish her the best as she embarks (pun intended) on the next part of her veterinary career at Chalfont Vet!!
Dr. Jessica Applebaum is a Fear Free Certified veterinarian who grew up right here in Bucks County. She earned her Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 2014 before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She has been in practicing in Bucks County since graduation.
Dr. Applebaum enjoys caring for dogs, cats, and small mammals. She is passionate about promoting the human-animal bond through high-quality medical and surgical care and believes that preventative medicine is the best medicine. In addition to wellness care, Dr. Applebaum enjoys soft tissue surgery, including spays, neuters, and mass removals, as well as caring for senior pets and helping families navigate their changing needs. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine, however, is building lifelong relationships with pets and their families.
Dr. Applebaum lives in Dublin with her collie mix, Mabel, and her two cats, Mickey and Henry. Mickey came into her life as a stray kitten who required a C-section, and Dr. Applebaum jokes that she “delivered” him herself. Henry simply showed up at her door one day and decided to stay.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Applebaum volunteers with feline Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programs, mentors pre-veterinary students, and enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, arts and crafts, board games, traveling, bowling, and reading. She can also ride a unicycle!
Pets are family, and Dr. Applebaum looks forward to caring for yours like they’re her own.
