Did you know that extra weight can affect much more than your pet’s appearance? Being overweight can increase the risk of arthritis, diabetes, heart and respiratory problems, and other health concerns—and even a few extra pounds can make a difference in our companions.

The good news? Prevention and early detection matter. ❤️

One of the best ways to get a clearer picture of your pet’s overall health is through routine bloodwork. Bloodwork can help us identify underlying changes that may not be obvious at home, giving us valuable information to help keep your pet healthy as they age.

🪿 An unexpected visitor stole the show today! 💚

On just her second day with our team, Maddy our newest assistant, found herself facing an emergency when her beloved goose was attacked by an unknown dog. Our team jumped in to help however we could, and we’re happy to share that he’s doing well and has started antibiotics for his wounds!

Needless to say, he made quite the impression on our staff today! 🪿❤️

A quick note: While we were glad to help in this situation, waterfowl are not a species we routinely see, and our ability to provide care for geese and other birds is limited. We will happily provide information for veterinary clinics that do treat our feathered friends.

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚

Our pets may not understand everything we’re going through, but somehow, they always seem to know when we need them most. 🐾

They greet us after a hard day, sit beside us when we’re hurting, make us laugh when we need it, and remind us to slow down and simply be present. Whether it’s a dog waiting for their morning walk, a cat curling up beside you, or a quiet moment spent caring for your pet, animals have a remarkable way of bringing comfort, connection, and joy into our lives.

The bond we share with our pets can be an important part of our emotional well-being. They give us companionship, routine, purpose, and unconditional love—and sometimes, that’s exactly what we need.

Every day, our CSRs are doing so much more than answering phones and checking clients in. They keep the schedule moving and coordinate the many pieces that go into a busy day.

Our CSRs are often the first voice you hear and the first face you see when you reach out to us. They set the tone for your visit and help connect every part of your pet’s care.
